The Flintstones [DVD] [1994]

Great film we watched this as a family with our 7 year old. He loved it.

Fred Flintstone gets set up in an embezzlement plot. The classic cartoon series comes to life and to it's credit the film really does feel like a live action cartoon. John Goodman is perfect casting as Fred Flintstone with good performances from Elizabeth Perkins as Wilma Flintstone, Rick Moranis again perfect casting as Barney Rubble, Rosie O'Donnell as Betty Rubble, the Flintstones and Rubble families do look like their cartoon versions with Elizabeth Taylor as Wilma's mother and Kyle McClachlan as the obligatary villain and Halle Berry as his secretary 2 brand new characters created for the film. The effects do look dated but the live action modern stone age family has aged well.

Have loved this film ever since it first came out, John Goodman is hilarious and Halle Berry sizzles just as much as she did in Catwoman, and the story is very entertaining and culminates in Fred inventing concrete. I never tire of watching this film, am very pleased to have my own copy now.

Sky TV dont have this film on their list so after mentioning it to my 12 year old daughter I decided to order it as I remember it to be very funny! The DVD was wrapped very well and will recommend this company to anyone else. Thak you very very much!! :)

This DVD will not work in Canada. Don't order unless you have a region 2 capable player. But awesome kids movie.
