It appears to be extremely thick and stiff felt material. (very stiff not floppy at all)

What size is this hat ?

Well my husband is a hat size 7 and it fits just slightly tight but it's comfortable enough for him for a party occasion. Hope that helps.

My husband takes a hat size 63 (XL) and managed to wear this although it was a little tight so I would say this was a regular L as an indication - maybe around a size 60? hope that's helpful...

Definitely would recommend

I brought this product just for a Halloween costume and I would definitely recommend to others, the hat is slightly too big but has an adjustable string to keep it in place on your head, very good quality, colour was exactly what I ordered (same as picture), definitely worth the money.

The quality is fair for the price, you are not getting a few hundred quid cowboy/girl hat. However you are also not getting a cheap quality one either. The product is more than adequate for multiple occasions.
