Absolute lifesaver - son broke his arm days befor holiday. Waterproof arm protection arrived next day. Fit perfectly & kept him dry on multiple trips into the sea & swimming pool. Made of a comfortable material that lasts. Would recommend to anyone needing to keep a cast dry.

My son broke his arm and is in cast past his elbow. We had booked a holiday and was devastated he wouldn’t be able to go in the pool. I was sceptical about this product, but safe to say my boy had so much fun in the pool! Kept his cast dry! Only problem was it got a bit sweaty so had to have breaks to let it air. But nothing to do with product more to do with him wanting to spend hours in the pool in the 30 degree heat! I did measure before buying and referenced to the size guide, fitted lovely! Hard work to get on took 2 of us, but we got the hang of it by the end of the week!

Just returned from a fabulous holiday in Cancun, Mexico. I purchased this after I broke my wrist one week before we left, so I could go in the sea and pool. It worked great, extremely watertight, but I limited my time in the water as it becomes very hot in warmer climates. I would recommend for holiday use.

A good product that makes showering while in plaster a lot easier than tying plastic bags to your arm! The only reasons I've not given 5 stars are: 1) The thumb shape is in the wrong position, halfway up the wrist! This meant I had to wear it like a mitten instead, with the thumb section just flapping around pointlessly. 2) Beyond the top, the material is far too baggy. One-size-fits-all it may be but it's more suitable for a lower leg than an average forearm - even allowing for a cast - and in no way resembles the slimline fit in the picture. Despite this, overall a quality product made of thick material that fits snugly at the top preventing any leakage while showering (not tested for swimming) and well worth the money.

Like the archetypical idiot, I broke my wrist after standing and subsequently falling off an unstable platform. Faced with wearing a aster/resin cast for 6 weeks, I set about determining how to bathe and keep my cast dry I worked out a number of methods to wash and shave, shower and wash my hair; all undertaken arately. Realising that this was likely to be a significant chore, particularly as I was advised to keep the cast dry, I decided to search Amazon and came upon this excellent product. Fitting is simple onto to cast. Simply roll the sleeve half way back towards the finger tips, inset your hand and then gently roll the sleeve back until the smaller diameter cuff is above the elbow. The seal is watertight as is the cover itself. Removing the cover is the reverse process. I only use my cover for showering and taking a bath, not for swimming. It is well made, easy to fit and remove, permits a full range of movement and most of all is completely watertight.

Bought for my M-I-L after she slipped and broke her arm. The hospital gave her a leaflet for these waterproof cast covers. We thought they were a great idea as they allow you to shower/bath without getting the cast wet. It says they only last 4 weeks which works out expensive in the long run - however, she ensured that she dried the cover carefully after each use and this extended the life of the product so it’s still in good condition after 6 weeks of use.

We ordered an adult arm size, when worn above the elbow, the cover comes to your knees, way too long. Our biggest problem is that it needs another person to use both hands to put it over the cast, the rubber eases a little by week 5, but still need another person to put it on, so not ideal for the arm. However when on is perfect and does the job, the product will probably last forever, however wouldn't want to keep it, just in case you break again. Suggestions may be that you have some sort of device that stretches opening, so you don't need three hands to get it on.

These are great if your going swimming on holiday or leasure if you've a cast or bandage i bought one of small adults and large child's to see which one fit best and the small adults fit perfect many say that these covers don't work even the nurses who put the cast on but they are wrong we ve been in the pool and the sea without any leakage very very pleased with this purchase. If your pondering just try different sizes until you have the one only thing you need to do once in the water is release any trapped air in the sleeve

Expensive but worth it. Nice and thick so they don’t tear or crack. Stretch enough to form a nice seal to keep water out. This works far better keeping my cast dry than the plastic bags the nurses gave me. A+

The Bloccs Waterproof Arm Cast Cover, Adult Short Arm, worked really well to keep my cast, and the surgical incision underneath it, dry while I showered. I used the sleeve daily for a month, and it never leaked, didn't tear, and didn't stretch permanently out of shape. I tried three different sleeves before settling on the Bloccs model, and I have no regrets. The opening is small and flexible, but not so small that you can't comfortably insert your cast covered forearm arm into it even if the cast is considerably larger than your arm. Once pulled over your cast/arm, the opening forms around your above-elbow arm to form a smooth waterproof seal with your skin. I'm a 5- 8" 70-yr old guy with average size forearms, and my cast added about 2-in diameter to my forearm size. Pulling on the sleeve was painless and easy, took about 30 seconds, and once sealed prevented even direct spray from getting inside. Removing the sleeve was as simple as toweling off the exterior, then using my fingers to open the seal and roll the sleeve down over my cast. I left the sleeve laying flat on the tub edge between uses. The sleeve looks like a large elongated balloon, the rubber is thick and very tough, and there's lots of room inside once on for the hand to move around if needed. The "thumb" wasn't particularly useful and just flopped around, but it also wasn't a problem. The sleeve looks ridiculous when on, but it does the its job well, and who cares how you look when you're in the shower anyway?
