Lemax 45735-UK Christmas Village Sights & Sounds: Christmas Clock Tower

Lovely lemax Christmas ornament. Came well packaged in a box I can reuse to keep safe after Christmas. Main 3 pin plug which is perfect. Easy to turn on and off. Like that you can control the volume of the Christmas music and can even have no sound with the lights and trains running! Only thing you have to do is place the little reindeer ontop of the clock tower (guessing this is removed so doesn’t break in box) lovely addition to my lemax collection. Quick delivery

Exactly as seen in a display its my favorite house lots of things to look at. Love that you can haveon with light and no sound as lovely as the voice is I couldn't have it repeating all day

I loved the look of this piece, and will definitely try to buy it again at a reasonable price next year, as it has some lovely moving features, and is a good height and shape to add a bit of difference to a Lemax display. The clock faces aren’t functional, but instead little paper circles stuck to the tower. This is a poly resin piece rather than a porcelain one, but not one of the plasticky-looking ones. This also has a good combination of lights - with a mix of internal lighting and little external downlighters. The piece is powered by an (included) 4.5v mains adapter. Unfortunately I had to return the clock tower received from this order as it had multiple major faults. The sound unit appeared to have shaken loose in transit, was rattling about inside the tower and wasn’t working at all, and both the little sleigh and train that are supposed to go round the clock tower weren’t moving properly. These would go a tiny amount, then get stuck making horrible grinding noises and only move again after being given a little push, stick, grinding noises, repeat. Additionally one of the little resin Christmas trees had come unglued from the base. If this had been the only fault, I would have kept it and just glued it back on as Lemax is very prone to this happening - we have quite a big display and usually have a gluing session at the start of the season to reattach small resin feature pieces on which the adhesive has given up.

We had seen this in a local garden centre and my partner loved it but they were out of stock so I ordered as a surprise pre Christmas. He absolutely loved it - it is very well engineered and you can adjust the volume. Probably his best Christmas present

The bottom panel was not connected and the wires and speaker mechanism fell out (had to tape it) there are 4 screw holes but nowhere to screw them in. Dont think theres any lasting damage... The reindeer on the top was not attached and the hole not big enough to go where it needs to go so I had to open it out myself. It is all working and my wife loves it, just a little disappointed in the above

As described arrived safely as expected Lemax qualify.

We saw this and many others in the product line up at a garden centre but they had sold out of the clock tower. Fortunately Amazon have probably the whole range online. So I secretly ordered it and when it arrived gave it to my wife who had been admiring it each time we visited the garden centre. Imagine her joy and getting the clock tower. We have been culling our Xmas decorations over the last 4-5 years and this year have bought a few "select" new pieces...... Under the review panel it asks for feedback on this toy, it is not a toy, there are a few delicate connections to the lights. It is a "Decorative" piece themed around Xmas.

I am extremely disappointed as the watch is only decorative. It didn't explain in the dealer info.
