AKG WMS40 Mini Wireless Instrument System, ISM1/CH70

excellent, read the reviews and thanks to them, decided to purchase this great bit of equipment. Plug straight in to my tuner, which is the first in a series link for my bass guitars, and played straight away, no loss of sound, tone, just brilliant. I played a set list to some friends I had around and really enjoyed the fact that I could get into the music, move around on the bass and not be distracted, worrying about treading on a lead and yanking my strap off, or causing crackling sounds. Amazing, buy one, I fully recommend. One more note, I got the ISM1 system, and does the job perfectly and saves money and nothing needs to be or can be in my opinion improved on.

My bass player had already bought a really expensive wireless system and it made me want one, but being a little tight, I did'nt want to spend too much, but was'nt sure how good this mini wireless set would be, but it really is fantastic, I've gigged with it a few times now and I use it down our jam night that we organise, and it's always being swapped from guitar to guitar and have had no issued at all. There is no loss in tone that can sometimes be mentioned about others, and there has been absolutely no loss of signal anywhere, I even tried it out at home by walking to the bottom of my garden and the amp was inside the house and it still worked. It is just a plug and play, no setup involved, just plug in and switch on and they marry up automatically. My lead guitarist has now bought one, you can buy them with different frequencies so they don't interfere with each other. I cannot recommend this product enough. Ellis

Bought as a replacement for an identical one which lasted less than a year in use in weekly rehearsals and only 17 gigs. It's a great unit that does the job well but that little aerial is very vulnerable and you have to look after it. Don't let it snag on anything, don't squash it into your gear bag or let it fly around in there. I found a cardboard box that was just the right size and I'll be keeping mine in that, in the gig-bag whenever it is not actually in use. My aerial just fell off at the start of a gig. The unit continued to work but we had horrible, intermittent crackling through the P.A. We were too dumb to see the connection and got the P.A. checked over at no small cost. So, why would I buy another one? Because it works with my AKG headset mic and the gigs are weekly now right through the summer. No time to select a whole new system.

When I checked the previous reviews I realised that this was what I was looking for. I also made the decision based on some You Tube video reviews. The price is excellent. When it arrived it was well packaged but I was slightly disappointed that there was no short jack lead to connect the main box to my bass amp. Luckily I had a spare and was soon able to connect it up and start playing. The sound quality was good and it allowed a lot of freedom to play whilst moving around. I play on a Kala ukulele bass and I have lost none of the quality in either tone or output. I have tested the wireless element up to around 15 metres but I suspect that it would transmit further if I had tried it. I can therefore recommend this outfit for the full 5 stars as it has provided me with much more freedom of playing which will be great when used on stage. Delivery was also ahead of schedule.

Great little unit, works well and does exactly what I needed it to. Has quite a distance to it so I can roam. I’ve got a basic IEM setup and it doesn’t interfere. My only problem is trying to find a 3 pin mini XLR right angled guitar cable. Every cable seems to 4 pin which doesn’t work. I can only order directly from China.

the unit after a bit started losing its signal and would cut out at inoportune moments and i’ve sent it back , no explanation to the fault so far and 2 conflicting responses , was informed it’s repaired and on its way back?and another response states i’m going to be issued with a refund? so which is it ?

Read a lot of good reviews about this product which led to me buying one and can't say I've been disappointed. Very easy to set up and use. Great signal strength, spent the first evening I received it wandering round the house and it played perfectly throughout. Did my first live gig with it and worked like a charm, instant response so no delay from playing a note to hearing it come from the amp. Highly recommend this product at such a good price.

Just arrived so stoked to use it at gigs! An update to my prior review... This item still holds up well at gigs and surprisingly despite the stated range being short you can pretty much rely on having a decent signal no matter where you are within a large venue. Whether you're back stage behind walls or right infront of the receiver your signal gets through clean! My one issue is the AA batteries tend to die extremely quickly and I recommend that even if you use it every day to remove the battery from the transmitter to prolong life. Amazing product and is cheap would highly recommend!

Avevo già provato i trasmettitori AKG e ben sapevo di andare sul sicuro. Infatti anche questo non ha tradito le aspettative: trasmissione perfetta, senza interferenze o interruzioni di sorta, timbro ben definito e NESSUN FRUSCIO. Un ottimo strumento sotto tutti i punti di vista. Nasce come trasmettitore generico per strumenti musicali con uscita jack (e infatti ha in dotazione il cavetto adattatore da Jack a mini xlr) ma usando un microfono con attacco adatto funziona egregiamente anche per la voce. In particolare io l'ho utilizzato in abbinata con un ProEl HCM23AK e il risultato è stato eccellente. L'unico problema (che per il momento non ho avuto) potrebbe essere dato dalla frequenza di trasmissione fissa monocanale che potrebbe andare in tilt in presenza di altri trasmettitori operanti sulla stessa banda. E questo potrebbe essere l'unico motivo a spingermi più avanti a sostituirlo con un modello multicanale. Ottimi come sempre la consegna (ho scelto la consegna 1 giorno e l'ho ricevuto nemmeno 24 ore dopo l'ordine) e l'imballaggio: Amazon è sempre una garanzia.

Pequeño, no ocupa mucho, bonito, fácil manejo, no tiene cortes de sonido, y con una pila te dura mas de 30 horas, yo lo compre para casa y alguna salida que haga, solo tiene un canal, pero vamos, por el precio y si no vas a estar todo el día de conciertos, es muy buena marca y muy bien producto, en cuanto a horas con una sola pila es imbatible, no le mete mano nadie. Estoy contento con la compra

Alles anschließen, anschalten, losspielen, was will ich mehr. Ich suchte für meinen Bass einen Sender, um nicht ständig auf das Kabel zu treten. Wir spielen nur auf kleinen Bühnen und dafür ist dieser Sender total ausreichend. Keine Verzerrung oder Verzögerung. Vor allem der Preis bei dieser Marke ist unschlagbar. Unser Gitarist überlegt sich auch dieses Gerät zu zulegen.

c'est quand on essaye au court d'une répett' ou bien un concert le plaisir de jouer sans un cable qui te gêne entre les jambes ou les pieds que tu réalises tout le potentiel de jouer en UHF, niveau signal c'est comme is tu avais un I-phone brancher sur tes fesses, le signal est puissant mais sans plus, si tu es sensible aux ondes ça fait un léger guili mais sinon ça va bien, un élément qui m'a étonné c'est la distance minimal qui est de 3 à 5 mètres sinon ça monte en peak (crète) facilement, mais pas de panique, tu as un gain sur le boitier émetteur et un volume sur le récepteur, tu trouves facilement le juste milieu et en avant la musique ! la batterie (AA) de l'émetteur est prévu pour durée 30hrs, je n'y suis pas encore pour l'instant, je pense pas qu'une pile "normal" bas prix dure autant, mais a essayé, sait-on jamais en tout cas pour l'heure AKG te file une Energizer en prime toute neuve, alors pourquoi t'en priver ! pour le rangement c'est autre chose, j'ai du me bricoler un petit support à velcro pour le fixer un peu partout où je vais ainsi qu'une petite mallette de rangement, sinon si t as de la place, le carton de rangement fait très bien l'affaire bon, venons-en au principal, oui ! tu peux jouer la porte fermé, la vitre fermé, dans ton jardin tranquille, ça passe crème !le signal est bon, peut-être les armatures métalliques des fenêtres ne sont pas très friands des signaux radios mais hormis ça, sur scène tu ne rencontres pas souvent d'armatures de ce type, mais quitte à l'essayer un peu partout, avec 20m de distance utile, ça laisse faire un beau ptit tour et revenir devant ton pedalboard avant d'enclencher une pédale et de repartir faire un tour ! j'aurais voulu essayé l'Alesis à quelques €uros de plus mais celui-ci me convient très bien perso j'ai pris l'ISM 1 comme je suis le seul du groupe à être sans fil pour le moment, mais si un autre décide à suivre mon chemin, il devra taxer un peu plus et opter pour l'ISM2, sinon on va se retrouver à 2 à émettre sur le même récepteur ! voilà voilou, très satisfait de cet achat, le clip ceinture/sangle du boitier émetteur est lui aussi très solide et très pratique, se passe partout et le jack 6.35 / mini XLR est assez long, tu peux en faire une boucle ou bien le laisser pendre, ça gêne pas, perso jfais un tour dans ma ceinture, après chacun fait comme il veut ! ;) seul petit bémol, l'antenne de l'émetteur peut-être un peu fragile, mais suffit de se rappeler que tu as un émetteur dans le dos et d'apprendre à vivre avec ! bon point aussi pour le "mute" sur l'émetteur si tu veux éviter de l'éteindre entre 2 morceaux, mute ou éteins, cela ne fait aucun bruit de nuisances dans l'ampli de toute façons j'oubliais, j'utilise un pédalier fabriqué maison avec plusieurs prises secteur, sans la noise-gate, ça fait un peu de bruit de perceuse parfois, selon où je me branche, mais l'AKG ne trahi rien et n'ajoute rien du tout, donc un vrai plus !!
