55 mm Precision Group Head Screen - Saeco compatible

In my opinion, this is one of the best first mods to make on a Gaggia Classic after a bottomless portafilter and proper basket (definitely recommend IMS for that as well, either the Competition or Big Bang). Great even water distribution, easy to clean (even easier if you get the Nanotech coated one, but at nearly twice the price, I didn't see a ton of value in doing so) and helps prevent channeling.Now, this isn't going to make a huge impact if you aren't already experienced in getting your pucks properly prepped and are not using great coffee...But if you already have the skills and equipment (particularly a great grinder!) this can help you elevate your espresso game.

I’ve purchased three of these so far for three different machines and each one greatly improves the flow out of there grouphead. The stock Gaggia Classic Pro shower screen kept clogging no matter how often I cleaned it. Upgraded this to one and no issues at all anymore. Great vendor and quick shipping. Would purchase again!

This fit perfectly in my 2020 Gaggia Classic, though I can't say I notice a difference in the quality of the resulting coffee.

Been refurbishing my parents gaggia from the early 1980's. Standard group head screen had had its day. New one is a perfect fit, quality made in Italy. Found the dispersion is much more consistent and cleans much easier. Grinds have no depressions to cling to because this screen is laser cut instead of stamped. For the nominal fee it's a good upgrade especially if you are looking to replace a worn out part or just tune up your machine.

Very well made, fits perfectly. So far, I cannot tell the difference in the coffee that gets produced between it and the Gaggia original -- and I have almost 40yrs experience with espresso machines, from inexpensive ones like the Gaggia Classic to semi-pro machines from ECM and others.The screen dispersion seems somewhat less even than with the Gaggia screen, but not by enough to matter; I am hoping that the screen will not accumulate coffee deposits as quickly as the Gaggia screen, because this screen presents a smooth surface on both sides, in contrast to the Gaggia, which present a small pit at each perforation.
