Very good quality and also holds my compact camera!
Excellent quality. Holds my compact camera as well which is a bonus as it means I can leave my other tripod at home and just take this one. I tested it with an iPhone X with an Otterbox case and it worked fine. The rubberized grip on the stick combined with the rubber on the Otterbox case have me assurance that it would not easily drop into the ocean even if I were to dangle it overboard on a boat. I have included a picture with a €50 note for size comparison. The Bluetooth shutter button connected first time to my phone and works to snap a picture or to start and stop a video. As it is a compact size, the length the stick extends is limited. This was my only concern when buying this. However, I found it fine in my testing. The fact you can remove the shutter button means you can take a pic or start a video remote from the camera when you are using it as a tripod. Another positive thing is that the aluminium shaft does not allow your camera to droop to one side as it is locked into a straight position unless you use firm pressure to move it 180 degrees into its second position. The grip also rotates in 45 degree increments to allows you to get some unusual footage or hold the stick at an odd angle. Check out some of the YouTube reviews which demonstrate the rotation. A firm thumbs up for this product.

Great Selfie Stick
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Blitzwolf BW-BS3 Sellfie Stick TripodI’ve had selfie sticks before and when I saw this for the first time I thought it would top heavy, but I’ve was wrong. The Blitzwolf arrived quickly and was in a very smart and well designed package. The stick comes all in one, easy to use unit.It comes with a charging lead which plugs into a USB port to charge the Bluetooth remote release. The remote slides out into your hand for those more creative couple or group shots in the tripod mode or stays in for the selfie stick mode. The tripod/stick is well made and aluminium is of high quality.I can’t wait to use this properly as it will be great for my job!Well recommended!

Well designed product
This is a high quality selfie stick that can transform into a tripod with the use of magnetised prongs in the handle. These legs can be adjusted to get a variety of angles and have a rubber coating to reduce slippage. The magnetic mechanism means the legs stay closed to give a robust handle for the selfie stick. The universal phone holder is good for my Samsung s7 edge which is one of the biggest phones on the market. This holder has a very good pivot which makes orientating the phone very easy. The shutter mechanism by Bluetooth and the remote can be detached and charged with the included micro USB cable. The brilliance is that this detachable remote makes using the tripod super easy to. No running for a timer anymore. Pairing with my phone was very easy and worked perfectly with my camera app (you might need to change a setting in your app which is volume button to capture, not to zoom). This has taken the selfie stick design and massively upgraded it. The only thing is that Bluetooth operation requires charging and drains phone battery more than the audio cable selfie sticks do - but there is a lot more functionality. The brushed aluminium feel is beautiful too.

Great for big phones! Samsung s9 plus etc.
When it first came out of its little box on my first impression was that I definitely made the right choice going for this selfie stick/tripod!It's just so good! It doesn't look cheap at all, I love the fact it charges with a cable and not have to have a gazillion battery changes in the future. It's sturdy for what I need it for (mostly indoor) but as long as you put the tripod in a flat space it'll probably be awesome. For those who have big phones, I have a samsung s9 + and I've had no issue with this at all. Just be careful of your buttons and balancing the tripod as these phones are heavier than the tripod itself.

Holiday essential, quality product.
I spent some time reading reviews of the various selfie sticks and mini tripods. My latest phone, an iPhone 6s+ was to be our main camera/cam for our upcoming holiday on South Wales coast. I have various other cameras but phones these days are more than adequate for anything other than professional purposes.I needed some sort of tripod with remote, and the choice is overwhelming. However, going on Amazon reviews there is a lot of rubbishy devices out there which I would not want to sit a £600 phone on. This one at least had zero one star reviews. Opening the package I was first taken aback by how small and light the box was. It would fit in a trouser cargo pocket. Somewhat disturbed, slightly disappointed I opened the box. I was immediately impressed. The plastic is superbly molded. The remote control is set in the handle so perfectly you would not think it was detachable. However, on extending the shaft, which is quite rigid aluminium, the remote comes out with just enough force so that it is unlikely to detach accidentally. The phone bracket needed to be rotated through 180 degrees to extend fully to accommodate my 6s+. Easily done and feels 100% secure. Having done this I'd pressed the remote button and the bluetooth light was flashing, I presumed ready for pairing. BW-BS3 appeared on my Bluetooth list and it paired in two seconds.I tried a few selfie stick mode pics, no problem, very easy to use. Having said that, the stick is shorter than some. With the weight of an iPhone 6+, 7+, any longer it would get difficult to handle with a longer stick anyway.Tripod mode is good, as good as you're going to get from a pocketable tripod. It needs to be on a fairly flat surface and I wouldn't risk extending the shaft more than a few centimetres. Within these limitations, I'm happy to use it outside with my phone, even with a light breeze. Indoors, fully extended on a hard surface is fine.I'll update this after our holiday.
