Works every time, just fill to the brim and tip out a small amount of water to allow for expansion. Does take overnight though to completely freeze, so be patient. A GnT with ice in the shape of the Death Star, what's not to like? Note there is a small alignment pip on the join, so make sure that lines up or the two halves don't fit together properly. Bigger than expected, but still fits in our glasses. From previous reviews was expecting it to be around the size of a golf ball, but more like a pool ball. Anyway, lasts in the drink for ages.

Rubbish!! Ice just forms into a ball, your cant make out its a Death Star design as the detail is left in the silicone case when the ice is removed. As the water expands when it freezes the case opens so it not even properly round in shape. Only a couple of quid I know.... but still a waste of money.

great little item, lasts for ages all you need to do is keep topping up your tipple and no more cubes are needed for a whole evening

The newer one is a lot thinner and leaks all over when setting.

Bought as part of a present. Leaks abysmally so will try taping it up but not impressed
