Awesome fans, whisper quiet.
I've used Noctua fans for years. I have tried the Redux ones, and they are good, but these Premium fans are worth the extra in my opinion. For a start, you get splitter cables, anti-vibration mounts, an extension cable and a low-noise cable included in the price. The last item is really intended for builds that don't have on-board fan speed control, as it slows the fan down manually to reduce the noise. These fans have 4-pin connections for full PWM control, so if your motherboard has suitable headers, you can control the fan speed down to zero. Be sure to order the correct ones, as Noctua make several, similar-looking fans with different connections and speeds. I've got two of these 80mm fans drawing air into the front of my case, and a 120mm exhaust at the rear. I also have a Noctua CPU cooler inside. I'm using the Fan Xpert software for my ASUS motherboard, and my PC is utterly silent. If I really load it up (or it's a VERY hot day), the fans speed up automatically. Even with all four fans at full speed, it's not very noisy - unlike the stock ones which sounded like a hovercraft! Obviously, the low noise means nothing if the fans don't move enough air. They do. They are excellent. The inside of my case rarely rises above the ambient temperature in the room, even though it's totally over-filled with multiple drives, has cables everywhere and has terrible airflow inside. The colour of these fans might not be to everyone's taste, but my case has no windows, and I wouldn't be able to see inside even if it did, because it's under the desk. Highly recommended - the only fans I buy.

The best Fans I've ever used
I've owned 2x 120mm Fans from Noctua some time after my AMD x2 6000+ build with ddr2 ram back in the late 2000s, and they have ran in all builds I've done over the years, they've out lasted and beat all other fans I've tried, air flow to quiet ratio Noctua wins. A new micro-ATX build only gave me room for an 80mm fan on the rear so I knew exactly which brand i was going to buy, also a web search confirmed what i expected, Noctua was still silent with great air-flow, (even better these days) This purchase gave me every thing i needed, having only one system fan header on my mobo, the pack comes with a 4 pin Y spliter cable so I didn't have to purchase separately for my 120mm front fan, also come's with a short and long ext cable, which i also needed since my mobo fan head is all the way at the rear of the case. All leads wear a nice quality feeling jacket for a tidy no hastle install. You also get nice rubber hoods on each corner if you screw them in place or using the easy rubber pull mounts both of which reduce case vibration. This new little 80mm fan is a beast and I'll be retiring the original 120mm for a new modern Noctua soon. Highly recommended.

Keeps My Server Cool and Quiet
I have been using a pair of Noctua NF-A8 80mm fan in my home server as an exhaust. Not only are they much quieter than the stock fans that came with my server, but they have also significantly lowered the temperatures inside my system. While the color scheme may not be to everyone's taste, don't let that put you off. The performance of this fan is simply outstanding. Even in 24:7 use, the Noctua NF-A8 80mm fan operates quietly and reliably, making it the perfect choice for anyone in need of a high-quality cooling solution. Overall, I would highly recommend the Noctua NF-A8 80mm fan to anyone looking to improve their home server's cooling performance. The color scheme may not be to everyone's taste, but the outstanding performance and quiet operation make it a great choice for any compact PC or server.

Noctua fan to cool AMD 1 chip
Fan fitted to my M1 Artic cooler (older AMG 5350 chip), for my NAS. Runs Even cooler than before. Very quiet. And feel better knowing a good quality, longer life fan is in my nearly 24/7 running NAS server.

The best fans I've tried. Transformed my PC.
I have a 3u server case and had some 120mm fans just sat loose in the case because they weren't the right size for my fan mounts. They sounded like a jet plane when I was gaming and it turned out my GPU was hitting 100° under load (whoops). So I turned to Noctua, as I'd heard good things from pretty much every tech Youtuber on the planet, and didn't want to get the cheapest option on Amazon anymore. I used the rubber mounts to fit them in my case. While they were a pain to fit, they significantly reduce vibrations. It's similar to swapping a HDD for an SSD in terms of vibration reduction. While the fans are smaller they are still quieter under full load compared to the previous fans at idle. I now get the hype. They're leaps above anything else I've tried and they ship with everything you'd ever need to install them in your case. Highly recommended.

Excellent quality - and quieter
I bought two of these case fans to replace some which were annoyingly noisy. I subsequently replaced a cheap Corsair PSU with a Be Quiet! Dark Power Pro 11 (550 w) and finally a fan to replace the one attached to a Cooler Master Hyper (model?) CPU cooler. I took decibel readings using an Android app 12" (30 cm) above my mid-tower unit. The readings are as follow: Computer off = 24 dB Computer on with old fans = 45 dB With two new Noctua case fans (without low-noise adaptor) = 39 dB With addition of Be Quiet PSU = 34 dB With Noctua low-noise adaptors = 32 dB With Noctua fan (with low-noise adaptor) in place of Cooler Master CPU fan = no difference. Reducing the noise level from 45 dB to 32 dB has made quite a big difference to the pleasantness of my surroundings. It was fairly expensive but worth it.

This has a 4 pin PWM lead suitable for CPU fan replacement
Another example of Noctua quality right here. After too many builds to count it's clear these guys are the best and they've jammed their expertise into this little 80mm model. All the good stuff is there, silence, great air flow, solid construction, loads of extra connectors/cables in the box (including low noise connectirs and extensions), you name it this fan has it. I switched this for the fan on another third party CPU cooler and instantly my HTPC was silent and about 5 degrees cooler. That's all you really need to know about the operation, it just doesn't get much better in fan land. ONE THING TO NOTE - it is thicker than the standard rubbishy 80mm fans you might get stock with some products. Make sure to take account of that if you are using low profile heatsinks or have a case with hardly any clearance.
