I used the Pro-Kleen Premium Iron Sulphate on my lawn and found it to be very effective. It dissolved easily in water and was straightforward to apply. After treatment, i see noticeable effect on moss in hours time and it worked really well in couple of hours. in couple of days and after racking the dead moss the grass looked noticeably greener and healthier, and the lawn overall felt stronger and more resilient. It’s a good solution for improving lawn colour and condition, especially if the grass is looking a bit tired or pale and has moss growth. The coverage is excellent as well, so a single pack goes a long way. Overall, a reliable product that worked well for my lawn and delivered the results I was hoping for.

I picked this up to improve the condition of my lawn, which was looking patchy and had some moss. I’ve used it once so far and the initial results are quite noticeable. It dissolves easily in water and is straightforward to apply, but one issue I found is that it doesn’t come with any kind of measuring scoop or clear guidance for accurate dosing. Because of that, I wasn’t able to get the mixture quite right on my first use. As a result, it mainly improved the colour of the lawn, turning it a much deeper green, rather than fully dealing with the moss. The moss has started to turn brown on the surface, but underneath it still looks green, which suggests it hasn’t been fully treated at the root level. I’m now waiting for some rain and planning to reapply it once I have a proper measuring tool so I can get the mix right and see how well it performs for moss control. One thing to be careful of is that, like most iron sulphate products, it can stain patios and paving if spilled, so it’s worth applying it carefully. Overall, it seems like a strong product in terms of improving lawn colour and appearance, but accurate measurement is key to getting the full benefit, especially if you’re targeting moss.

This is so good, works so quickly

Single application of around 2gm per litre per square meter, resulted in beautiful lush green grass. Some places had a bit black appearance probably because of reaction of iron with moss. Overall, very effective and easy to use. Arrived in a sealed plastic container which had instructions printed on it. Good value for money, probably will last good couple of year. Dissolved easily in warm water. There were big clumps but they all break easily. Just be extra careful to avoid staining any patio or other surfaces.

Moss all gone. This stuff is brilliant. Don’t be put off by lumps in the tub, just break them up. Follow the instructions, and take your time.

This year I wanted to try and improve our lawn because it had seen better days. I read that this stuff is good for killing moss and making the grass stronger. I'm a bit mixed on the results. It did appear to work very well at killing moss because my lawn had loads of it which is now all gone, although I'm not sure how much of that is due to the dry weather we have had this year. I can't say I've noticed that the grass looked healthier though. I had to return my first tub because it arrived with a crack in it and lots had fallen out, I wasn't impressed when it had dropped all over the floor in the house. Getting a replacement was simple and the second tub was fine. However it did have quite a lot of hard chunks that I had to break up with a hammer. The instructions were easy to follow and I did two applications with the tub so it works out good value but it is quite time consuming on a large lawn.

Does what it says, kills the moss, started to turn black within the day. Easy to mix value for money and overall well the quality is good
