Amazing tool to have. Previously the loft key I had purchased didn’t really open the hatch door properly. This one just fits in perfectly. Don’t have to fiddle anything while standing on a ladder. It’s quick. It has several sizes as well. Very clever tool.

Great magnet to hold both parts together, good size to store in pocket, easy to use, functions as required. Great value for money and an essential every day bit of kit to carry as an electrician

Perfect little device

Knippex - equals good quality, more expensive than most but makes up for in quality and feel. You can just about get into anything with this apart from Fort Knox, very handy tool to have.

I purchased some of these from this seller - the description said they were Knipex but they seem to have shipped unbranded knock-offs. There should be Knipex branding in the centre hub area - as you can see from my 4th picture from the Knipex video however the area is blank. The seller has since put the price up considerably so you may now be getting genuine Knipex product but mine, although functionally the same, are unbranded and the finish on them is not as good. The ones I received are probably fine for my use so I'll keep them in my emergency kit, but if you buy from these guys please make sure to check that you have received a genuine product.

Typical Knipex quaity tool, opens every type of industrial control panel or machine guard panel quarter turn lock you are likely to find in Europe. The stainless wire rope has a screwed connection so you can add additional specialist keys should you need to. A bit or precision regarding the radiator bleed key. If the center line of the bleed plug is less than 32mm from the wall, or whatever the radiator is fastened to then this key will be too big. The 6mm (1/4") socket is the little bump on the flat face of the triangular and square key. For example my raditors are at 75 and 90 mm from the wall so this key works perfectly and gives far better leverage and purchase than the typical small brass of steel keys commonly found in DIY shops.

Exactly what I expected ,happy with purchase

I purchased this on a recommendation, having been stuck at a charging point, unable to release my cable. A day after buying this, once again I found myself unable to detach my charging lead from a public charging point. With this tool I was able to open the cover to reboot the charging point, and release the cable. Oh yes - it’s also useful for opening my gas meter cupboard for meter readings.

Love this as an EDC item in my daily load out. Great for job site visits or if I'm on a call out and some needs a box opened.

Ich habe den KNIPEX TwinKey gekauft, weil ich einen zuverlässigen Universalschlüssel für gängige Schließsysteme gesucht habe. Und wie man es von KNIPEX erwartet: Das Teil wirkt hochwertig, durchdacht und nicht wie irgendein wackeliger Schlüssel aus der Überraschungskiste. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass mehrere Profile in einem kompakten Werkzeug vereint sind. Man hat also nicht fünf einzelne Schlüssel herumfliegen, sondern direkt eine kleine Allzweck-Lösung zur Hand. Für Schaltschränke, technische Klappen, Hausverwaltungskram oder andere alltägliche Situationen ist das wirklich sehr angenehm. Die Verarbeitung macht einen sehr stabilen Eindruck. Nichts fühlt sich billig oder labberig an, und die Handhabung ist unkompliziert. Genau so soll ein Werkzeug sein: in die Hand nehmen, benutzen, fertig. Kein Drama, kein Gefummel, kein „warum passt hier jetzt wieder nichts?“-Moment. Für mich ist der TwinKey einfach ein richtig praktisches kleines Helferlein, das man nicht ständig braucht, aber im richtigen Moment sehr zu schätzen weiß. Und dann steht man da, klickt auf, erledigt die Sache und fühlt sich für zwei Sekunden wie der Facility-Manager seines eigenen kleinen Königreichs. Huch. 😄 Fazit: Hochwertig, kompakt, vielseitig und typisch KNIPEX. Für gängige Schließsysteme absolut praktisch und für mich klare 5 Sterne. 🔑
