Has anyone used these on Cat 6 solid core cable?

Are these suitable for exterior use. Do they need boots?

In essence, no. Boots do not protect from moisture they just make the connector more robust and less susceptible to damage. These would be fine if they are concealed in a suitable IP rated box; that’s what I’ve done.
