Could save a life,not cheap but perhaps several people could chip in?
Cpr training advised.A very good solid civilian Defib with an extremely loud clear voice to guide you through an emergency and keep you as calm as possible.Replacement parts for this unit are not cheap, but we do tend to pay more for ease of use and safety in high end products.One thing to remember is this will not shock someones heart unless they require it ( it performs an ECG and repeats it between shocks) and it needs your input to deliver a shock ( one press of an illuminated button after it has made that assessment)It's also capable of sending the ECG and resus data via infra red to paramedics in the room when they arrive.You are advised to call an ambulance as soon as you know you need to use this, so you will have backup asap.Max shock is 150J for an Adult,an ambulances defib can go higher.The machine tells you when not to touch the patient.Carry case is not included - the battery is included and so is one set of adult pads.Pads have to be changed after use. Pads for Children are designed differently and are an extra cost, these would shock automatically at a lower current should they need to.
