Im glad I bought this five pack as I only needed four for the install, yet needed to use one of the connectors from the extra one to replace a defective connector on another brands connectors that I bought for the wall portion of the install. These seem fine and installed easily. I have no lingering worries about this install like I do about the other brand I used for the walls.

Putting together a 14.2 Home Theater Room and I ran out of Banana Wall Plates . Did some searching on a set of decent wall plates that would do the job, found these at an excellent price. Locally I would expect to pay for one the same price I paid for a pack of 5 on Amazon. Needless to say they installed perfectly on single gang surface mount boxes and look great.

These work fine. Yes, they leave a gap if using a remodel trim ring. But that it because the trim ring sits on too of the drywall. All these people acting like it's a huge deal or a flaw of this product need to get a clue. That's what happens when you use a remodel trim ring. It doesn't take long to figure out how to modify the trim ring to make this sit flush with the drywall. Someone said it took them 3 hours to modify 5 using an oscillating tool? Please. I removed my trim rings, modified them with a file, reinstalled them and then installed these plates in well under an hour.

Very solidly made and good looking outlets. It's true you can't put banana plugs in both sides, but why would you want to? I want a clamped screw in secure connection inside the wall and plugs on the outside only. Only needed 2 but there were 5 in the pack. I'm sure I'll find a use for them sometime and they'll last forever.

The title says it all. I like that both sides can have banana plugs, bare wire, spades or pretty much anything. So, good binding posts. Very sung for the plugs I have. Everything is individually packaged so they don't scratch each other in storage/shipping. Nice touch. There was one user thinking they HAVE to use banana plugs. Just twist the ends and it reveal a hole/gap for bare wire or spades or other kinds of connectors. It is a standard high end binding post. As to the screws, not sure they will fit my box (this is normal). They should standard boxes but depends on how well your box was installed. I have many screws of various lengths for this purpose or you can go to your local HW store and get some for a few cents.

I installed 5x of these for my surround sound system using Mediabridge 14AWG Speaker Wire and low voltage "old work" boxes available at my local hardware store. It took an afternoon as I had to run wire, but was well worth it. All my wires are now hidden and the panels make for a clean, professional look. I used "pig tail" wires with banana connectors to connect the speakers. Everything looks beautiful.
