Must buy!!
I swear to you this is the best blowdryer that has ever touched my hair!!! It's compact, powerful af, works like a champion with a ridiculously fast dry time. It's sleek and stylish, super strong and cuts the time down to a fraction! The tools are amazing and may even curl a blowout if you so well please. Tymo has done it again! I'm already in love with the hotcomb. Now the combination of the 2 makes wash day with 4c hair and 45 min. Job start to finish instead for 31/2- 4 hours.

An investment for your hair future
Dries my hair in no time and leaves my hair soft and manageable especially right before I use the flat iron to straighten it out. This hair dryer is a game changer and it’s the best investment you could ever make. The noise isn’t bothersome as other hair dryers make but what hair dryer doesn’t make some sort of noise?! I love that I can control the various heat temperature settings and how much air comes out (low, medium, high). The size is perfect and compact, even the attachments are sized beautifully. It does what it’s supposed to do and you won’t be disappointed!!

The perfect gift
This product is amazing! I was able to blow dry my daughter’s hair in minutes. My daughter has special needs and she hates getting her hair done. Her hair came out bone straight. The size is just right and not heavy to hold. I love the magnetic snap on comb, and diffuser. It is extremely powerful.

Great hair dryer, not without flaws
This hair dryer is great and versatile because it has 4 heat options, 3 speeds, and multiple useful attachments. It dries my hair super fast and leaves it feeling silky smooth. My biggest complaint about it is that the attachments that you put on the end don't have a strong enough magnet in them. Every time I use any of the attachments, if I bump the end with a brush or push against my scalp too hard the attachments just pop off and go flying to the floor which can get really irritating when I'm trying to rush to get my hair done before going to work.

Wowed by this Dyson Dupe Essential
For years, I refused to spend serious $$$ on the Dyson blow dryer though all the beauty girlies I know bought one. I figured someone would launch a less hyped, affordable dupe eventually. Then, bingo, I found this Tymo dryer. It heats up super fast, is incredibly lightweight from the sleek design, and ultra powerful with the third setting being powerful to flatten out wrinkles in a shirt. And, ofc, gives the best home blowout I’ve had.

Why did I wait so long?
I normally wait until I've used a product a lot before reviewing, but want to share my thoughts for anyone considering this as a holiday gift. I watched and read a ton of reviews, but still wasn't totally sold that this would be the right solution for my shoulder-length, fine texture, high-density, 2B waves.DRY TIMEMy main priority was dry time, and the Tymo definitely delivers. I can get 100% dry in about 10 minutes, which seemed like an impossible result. My Conair IonShine 1875 with Black Orchid diffuser took at least 30 minutes to get my waves and roots 95% dry. With less time wet, my waves are holding better.COOL SHOTI read a lot of complaints that reviewers' dryers were "stuck" on the 80 degree cool setting. So I tried not to panic when it appeared my Tymo was doing the same thing. The instructions aren't great for this. Turn it off, turn it back on, play around with the on/off switch. I think what happens is that it appears that 80 degrees is one of 4 heat settings, but it's not really. It's a separate cool shot MODE. So if you get it on 80 degrees then try to adjust the temp, it won't work. You have to switch the ON button to return to the original mode. This confusion is why I'm docking one star.DIFFUSERI was also concerned the diffuser would not be large enough, as it is smaller than my Black Orchid. The Tymo diffuser is a perfect size for my shoulder-length hair, and I really like the adjustable teeth. If you have significantly longer hair, however, the diffuser size might be problematic for you.TEMPSI'm really glad I purchased the version with the 140 degree setting. It is just on the edge of being too hot. I definitely won't use the 180 or 210 settings for diffusing. Maybe those temps work for straightening, but I rarely do that.SOUNDThe Tymo seems quieter than my Conair; HOWEVER, the specific pitch of the dryer sound is really grating to me. I pop in earplugs while I'm drying. My spouse says the sound does not bug him.HANDLINGI find the Tymo to be very lightweight and easy to hold. I don't have a problem with the location of the temp and fan settings. Diffusing doesn't really require me to maneuver the handle much. I can understand why the button placement might be annoying for people who are straightening their hair.OVERALLI regret not purchasing the Tymo sooner. I don't think the Tymo itself is necessarily making my hair look better; but because I'm not a morning person, I almost never had time to get my hair fully dry and get good results from my waves. I bought my dryer during Cyber Week, when it was about $50 cheaper than I had seen it before. So I feel good about the price. Knowing the results now, it would have been worth full price.
