Super happy with this Vonshef potato ricer! It’s so easy to use and makes mashed potatoes a quick and effortless process no lumps at all. The size is quite generous, which is great if you’re cooking for a few people at once. Definitely makes meal prep easier and I’d highly recommend it!

Good river, nice size & value

It's difficult to review this because, while it does work, it doesn't work particularly well. Every time I use it, the potato ends up squirting up the sides and when I pull the handle back, it drags the potato back out as well. The whole process is quite messy. My biggest issue, however, is the handle. The grip is bare metal with a textured finish that's surprisingly sharp and uncomfortable to hold. It really should have a rubber coating or at least be smoothed out like the handle of a good-quality pan, as it becomes irritating to use, especially if you're making a larger batch. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this product. There are much better potato ricers available that do a better job of keeping the potato contained and have far more comfortable handles.

So helpful, when making resteraunt smooth mash. The speed is fantastic. Simply scoop the potato flesh from freshly cooked steaming jacket potatoes. It big enough to take on 2 medium potatoes at a single press. No need to repeat, just add the butter, egg yolk, season and fold then serve. Honestly, it's a time saver, more importantly stops you over mashing the potatoes.

If you like your "mashed taters" lumpy like potato salad, you DON'T want this. As a kid, I was told "homemade mashed potatoes have lumps, if it doesn't it's that fake powder". BULL. This thing is absolutely amazing. Find another use for your potato masher, because you won't use it for potatoes again. It makes the smoothest, creamiest mashed potatoes. NO LUMPS. Super quick. They could've stamped the parts so that the handles finish closer, that would've provided a slightly better, closer grip when starting, but if your potatoes are cooked completely, they are easy to push through. Some complained that there was some "squeeze out" around the piston. Of course, there has to be some clearance between the sides and piston. The "squeeze out" is MASHED. When it's empty, open it, bump it on the bowl, and the "squeeze out" becomes part of your creamiest potatoes! The small handle at the far end is nice to rest on the side of the bowl, while mashing, and while refilling. It has a convenient hole for hanging. It's rubberized so it doesn't jump around like a greasy noodle on vaseline. I'm pretty easy to please, but this thing is the most pleasing out of so little money. As a single father of a daughter that LOVES mashed potatoes, I feel late to the party. Perfect fluffy potatoes, no gooey mess from breaking the starches by over mashing with a masher. It's not just for potatoes. Anything soft you want to puree, "rice it". If I'd known about this when she was an infant, alot of her baby food would've been cheaper and healthier! You can even skip the skinning step, this will separate the skins while mashing. Make your own hummus! REAL pumpkin pie (not that canned filling crap)? I'll bet this will even separate the stray strings and seeds. I looked at others with interchangeable plates for different sizes, no need to spend the extra money, and deal with storing extra loose parts. Forget Gordon as a critic, my daughter and her friends gave me the ultimate "can we have more" thumbs up!

Es más práctico que los pasa purés tradicionales. Lo recomiendo, es muy útil y fácil de limpiar. No ocupa espacio.
