Exo Terra Glow Light and Reflector Large, 25 cm

The last heat lamp surround that I purchased from the manufacturer 'Prorep' decided it would melt inside my bearded dragons vivarium, aside from smouldering and causing toxic plastic smoke it also melted the bulb which caused the bulb to drop onto the ground of the vivarium which also happened to be a Prorep bulb, thankfully I was home when this happened.My biggest concern was naturally for my beardy, I urgently needed a new bulb and a heat lamp and living in the middle of nowhere I did panic slightly. Thankfully I ordered one of these and it arrived the next day with a 150watt bulb. The difference in quality is evident, there's no plastic to melt, it's covered in ceramic which disperses the heat, there's no hot spots on the surround like my last one and the exoterra bulb feels hotter which is a bonus.I can't thank them enough for getting this to me for the day after and I am now a firm exoterra customer.

Good value for money

Bought this alongside a new Vivarium. Very good lamp although the fuse blew in the plug socket within the first week but I can't fault the lamp or seller for that, these things just happen.

Reading through the questions it states if it's shipped from the UK to another UK address, it will have the 3 prong plug. Mine did not so had to use an adapter I luckily had in the house (poor GHDs). It does glow after the light goes off for a little while.

Very good spring clip to secure lamp in place. Useful afterglow helps tortoise find her way to settle for the night rather than into sudden darkness.

Not bad but I haven’t seen it glow yet I’m using a red heat bulb and it heats my 45w x 45d x 60h terrarium well

I have been using this brand and style for over 10 years, I love the moonlight effect. It's hard to wipe and clean the inside because of the material but other then that I have no complaints. Iv used many different sizes and all have performed as expected. They are great for withstanding the higher watt temps, yes u can get faulty ones like anything else but I have yet to have it happen with these in over 10 years of keeping a wide range of reptiles

My turtle likes the light so no complaints :)

Si no quieres o no puedes poner la lámpara sobre una superficie la abrazadera es una buena opción si deseas dirigir la luz en cierto ángulo. El brillo nocturno se ve genial aunque dura relativamente poco después de haberla apagado. El cable tiene un buen calibre y longitud; lo mejor es que el interruptor está en el cable y es muy resistente, así que es muy práctico ya que no tengo que mover la lámpara para encender o apagar. Está indicada para usarse con bombillas igual o menores a los 100 watts.Esta lámpara es un producto que vale la pena, no decepciona debido a su calidad de construcción. La he usado con mis iguanas verdes y todo va genial.
