An Excellent Precise Eraser
I do a lot of drawing and designing including sketches and technical drawings (old school with pencil and paper) and have a couple of these erasers on hand for small corrections and clean ups. The eraser material is a plastic type and as long as you don't extend it too far, it works well and doesn't break. I carry one in my pencil case and always retract the eraser (press the button that extends the eraser and while holding it in push the eraser back into the housing) before putting it back in the case and this stops the eraser from getting dirty ensuring it's ready for use next time.I wouldn't use it to erase large areas (other pen type erasers are more cost effective for this), but it is perfect for detailed work and refills are available which makes it less expensive to use and a little bit better for the environment. If TomBow was to introduce an all-metal version, I'd definitely have one!

small and precise
*bought on offer for about £1.80*good quality eraser as you would expect from tombow*handy size for pencil case*loving the bright orange colour as it is easier to find in on my desk comparing to the original white/blue/black version*small enough for precise erasing

Difficult to Reload
It performs very accurately and well till you get near the end of the eraser, it then refuses to eject/propel out the front point using the top spring mechanism. To get the used eraser out I usually have to use a sturdy copper wire up the back end to poke it out, which sometimes takes a bit of effort! Also, the plastic rod attached to the eraser sometimes breaks off, as it's only very thinly attached to the eraser itself. When this happens it makes it more difficult to load, but I always get there in the end!
