MSMPure Max Strength Skin & Facial MSM Gel, Organic Aloe, 8 oz

I purchased this for 2 reasons- to help with arthritis pain in my knees, and to smooth my perpetually inflamed skin, and I am very pleased! A little of this gel goes a long way on my face (just a pencil eraser sized amount on my cheeks, chin and nose), and I’ve been applying it under my moisturizer (Cetaphil daily moisturizer with hyaluronic acid). In just 2 days, my chronic inflammation “bumps” and redness have nearly disappeared! My skin is BABY soft, smooth pores are diminished, and my face has that “glow from within” look! Using it along with my body moisturizer (also Cetaphil brand) is transforming the rough, dry skin on my arms and legs, as well. I’m honestly amazed, because I didn’t expect to see overnight results like this. I’ve tried so many other things and nothing has ever worked this well! If you have arthritis pain, you might want to give this a try! This seems to work as well as the Voltaren and Pennsaid prescription NSAID gels for arthritis pain inflammation in my knees. My arthritis is severe, so this doesn’t “cure” anything, but it does seem to help with the inflammation in the knees and surrounding tissues. I’m hoping that this MSM gel will provide more relief with continued use. I also take MSM supplements orally, and can definitely tell a difference when I miss a day or two, so I’m a big believer in MSM for helping with inflammatory conditions. Overall, I could not be more pleased with this product! I definitely plan to purchase more in the future! EDIT: Just placed my second order, and wanted to update my review to say that this product has completely transformed my skin! I still use it every day on my face (morning and night) and on my body (put some on my hand, then add my cetaphil lotion, at about a 1:2 ratio of MSM to lotion, then just mix together on the palm of my hands before applying). My skin has never been this soft, and chronic inflammation/bumps/irritation is gone! Purchased more so that I can add some to a travel bag, but still have about 1/3 bottle left after using daily for 2 months. I’m so happy I finally found something that heals my dry, chronically irritated/sensitive skin, and I really do think this product has an anti-aging benefit, as well. This stuff is AMAZING!

About 7 months ago I noticed that the kp on my arms had gotten so bad that my arms felt like lizard skin(forget chicken skin!). Coupled with pretty hyperpigmentation from the KP, I tried to figure out what to do about it since my arms had never looked or felt this bad! I tried Amlactin Rapid Relief for several months which helped a little but not enough. So I added in CeraVe's Rough and Bumpy Skin gel wash and a Korean exfoliating towel as well. That helped considerably. Then I started watching Dr. Vanita Rattan on YouTube and she shared that AHA acids were not great for skin of color and to instead focus on moisturizing the skin and using a BHA acid. So I stopped using the Amlactin and instead focused on just using the CeraVe body wash and doubling my moisturizing efforts (I used Alba's herbal emollient lotion and then would put pure raw shea butter on as well once the lotion had absorbed) every day. This seemed to improve it considerably. BUT then, I was researching MSM and sulphur for my malassezia folliculitis and I came across a post somewhere (I honestly don't remember where) that said sulphur or MSM might be good for keratosis pilaris. This particular brand was recommended by the Simple Skincare Science website (for malassezia) so I bought it two weeks ago because I tried a sulphur soap and just didn't love the smell. Honestly, I wasn't sure that it would do much for the KP because I had already tried so many things over the years and particularly over the last six months. So far this is making some slow improvements on the skin on my face (my malassezia is not very wide-spread but pretty stubborn). In terms of my KP, however, I have seen so much improvement in the last two weeks that I am a believer! My skin is soft! There are still some kp plugs but even my hyperpigmentation (which had not improved at all with anything) looks better. I will be incorporating The Ordinary's niacinamide powder into my night routine as well to help with the hyperpigmentation but even if I weren't to use the niacinamide I feel hopeful for the first time in months that I have found a product (and a routine) that not only improves the plugs but also the hyperpigmentation which was looking pretty awful even as my kp plugs lessened. I used it in the morning and evening--I find it much more pleasant and easy to use than any of the lactic lotions in terms of consistency and smell (it doesn't smell bad at all and doesn't leave the weird sticky feel that some lactic acid lotions leave). You can also later it with other moisturizers pretty well. I'm just so amazed! I made my bf feel my arms yesterday and he was impressed by how soft my arms felt because it's literally been years since they felt this soft! I wish I had a before photo to share how bad it was even just a week ago! The kp plugs were still pretty widespread and itchy and each hyperpigmentation dot was really dark. I know that there is no cure for KP but I think I finally found products (both this and the CeraVe wash) that work much more effectively at treating it than anything else I've tried!

This is great stuff. It helps my achy knee immediately. When my legs twitch at night, it calms them so I can sleep.

no strong nasty smell which makes my sensitive nose flare up and give me headaches. Kinda weird using this, at first it feels watery and than gel like and than it gets super dry on your skin and kinda makes your facial skin feel tight but, skin still feels softer than before using it. I have rosacea and very dry flaky skin areas and every time i try to moisturize my skin, it results in acne like breakouts bumps that cannot easily be rid of within 3-4th day and my rosacea moves into stage 2 more so i tend to not like using moisturizers but, yet i still search for one that will help my dry skin anyways. So far so good with this lotion, i still have some dryness because i am afraid to use too much of this and end up with flareups/breakout but, it feels different than other facial lotions so i have high hopes that i have finally found something that will moisturize without actually making my skin worse looking. Maybe it will help my rosacea too but, at this point, i will be happy with it just getting rid of my dry skin.

This product works well for my plantar fasciitis . It is a stubborn and extremely painful condition of the heel and foot. The pain was diminished by 75% at least , allowing me to walk without any morning stiffness. It is amazing . I am also 60 yrs old and have lost collagen and elasticity in the skin . Seeing that the gel worked so well for pain , I decided to buy KALA course msm flakes too . Now this is a mind blower to me .. After only three days 1/2 tsp two x's a day...my skin on my upper arms and deltoids is noticebly tighter! Also on my legs .. No more crepe paper appearance! I am dead serious! I think I may be buying these products by the caseload if this is the result . I have had no ill effects from detox and have kept the amount ingested low as recommended. Both the gel and coarse flakes are miraculous. Also, be sure you never buy any that does not use optiMsm, look for it on the label or advertisement. I have researched msm and have yet to find anything negative about it. Kala is a good company with a clean product . Try it .. You really have nothing to lose . No stiffness , foot , knees elbows , carpal fingers or neck! Thanks for a great product. Do not buy any without OptiMsm !! They are imposters from places like China and are not using purification through distillation and its not msm! This is the real deal here 👌😎

I haven't regretted buying this product. MSM is amazing. It really does help aching joints and sore muscles. I first tried MSM from the Gel-Out brand. Gel-out is more money, but it had faster and deeper results. This gel takes a little while to notice the aches going away, while gel-out was instant and long lasting relief. I bought this brand after gel-out because it is cheaper, but in the end, I think I'm going to go back to gel-out. This product has really helped with acne on my chin. It reduces inflammation, which is nice. But it leaves a bit of a filmy residue on my skin that flakes off later. It also has a strange odor. I can't decide if it smells more like Elmer's glue or the mud pots at Yellowstone. Either one will give you an idea of what it smells like. The odor goes away after a little while, but I'd prefer to not have it at all, especially if I'm putting it on my face. So, over all, not a bad buy, but I'm going to spend the extra money on gel-out instead. With all msm gels, a little goes a long way, so it lasts a long time, and I'd rather spend a bit more for a better product.

Love this item. Works well on my skin.

I wanted a cream or lotion with msm and most had tons of other remedies in them. Finally found this…. Just msm plus aloe. I love it on my skin, it feels great and I believe in the two products. Being an older woman, skin can be a problem, so far it strengths and clears broken out skin. I do recommend it.

Very good cleaning gel,you may use it as often as you need with out side effects.

I used this gel on my pseudo foliculis and it cleared it within ten days, it stopped itching almost instantly. I gave it to my son to use on his psoriasis and the skin was smooth after a few applications, he’s just waiting for the redness to go. I will definitely be buying again, if it ever runs out.

goes on the skin smoothly and sinks in nicely leaving the skin smooth and silky.

Perfect

makes a great aftershave.
