Really good quality. Cork mat lovely and thick. Nice pattern very pleased with these. Have paid a lot more for inferior table mats in the past.

A smart design
Bought these for Christmas, just what I needed

Very nice.
I bought these for Christmas this year and I am pretty happy with them. They look nice and do the job. My one disappointment is that they are not sealed against spillages. One of the children spilled some water at the side of one of the placemats and it now has a water stain coming from the edge. It's not a hug deal, but it's something to be aware of. I might explore ways to seal the edges. Otherwise I am very happy with them and may buy another set.

Not full size placemats
I had to return them as the placemats were very small and could only fit a small plate on them. I prefer the full sized placemats.

Beware of tiny size
I assumed, obviously foolishly, that these would be the same size as the previous placemats I'd ordered with Portmeirion designs--a size that a place setting would fit on--not true. These are diminutive!
