Very comfortable travel pillow with excellent support, but not a guaranteed sleep solution
I have used this travel pillow on more than 10 journeys, including long-haul and short-haul flights, train journeys and car journeys of up to 24 hours. I normally struggle to sleep while travelling, so I was looking for something that would provide better support than a standard U-shaped neck pillow. As a pillow, this is extremely comfortable. The double support design provides good 360° support around the neck, including the chin and front of the neck, which is an area that many travel pillows do not support well. It prevents my head from falling forward and also helps reduce sideways movement. The filling has a medium firmness, which feels supportive without being too hard, and I can use it comfortably for several hours. The fit is good, and the adjustable design makes it easy to get a secure and comfortable position. It works well in different seats and on different types of transport. The material feels comfortable against the skin, and I have not found it to become particularly hot during use. The carry bag is useful and makes it easier to pack away. It compresses well enough for travel, does not feel excessively bulky compared with other travel pillows, and is easy to attach to luggage or a backpack. The colour options are also a nice touch. The main limitation is that, despite being very comfortable, it has not completely solved my ability to sleep upright. I would rate it highly as a supportive travel pillow, but it has only been moderately effective at helping me actually fall asleep while sitting in a transport seat. The price is the main drawback, as it is more expensive than many basic travel pillows. However, after using it repeatedly, I think the comfort, support and versatility justify the cost. I would recommend this to people who travel long distances and struggle with uncomfortable neck positions, particularly if previous travel pillows have not supported the chin and front of the neck. If you are looking for a cheaper option or only travel occasionally, a simpler pillow may be sufficient.

Over priced and under supportive. See our full review of five compared, below
My family is flying long haul so wanted to get some neck supports for the plane. We are a family of six (4 adults & two teenagers) of different shapes and sizes and didn’t know which pillow(s) to go for with so many mixed reviews and average 4.5 star ratings. So we took advantage of my Prime membership and ordered the top five rated neck pillows to compare at home, expecting there to be something for everyone. We haven’t flown yet so this review is just our first impressions from sitting for a few minutes with the various types prior to travel. These ratings and comments are a combination of our shared opinions. Note: We are not affiliated with any of the stores/manufacturers nor have we been offered any incentive or free trial. These are just our honest impressions having seen the products in real life. BCOZZY Neck Pillow £40 Overall score : 6/10 This was the pillow we all expected to like most. It had the most impressive marketing claims and really looked like it would offer perfect support. It was very disappointing. The first point of note is that it comes in a little bag with a string and toggle and packing and unpacking it is similar to a sleeping bag with its case; its tight to get out and a real challenge to squash down enough to get back in. We did not think the carry case was durable nor that it would last very long. There were no extras (earplugs or eye-mask) as is typical with a neck pillow) and it was terribly expensive compared to its main competitor(s). It is stuffed with that cheap polyester (stuffed toy type) fluffy filling rather than memory foam and the stuffing wasn’t firm or full enough, It help lumpy and sparse. There seemed too little loft to the sides and whilst it did offer great support to the chin where it doubled over, the head was not well supported at the sides and there was every likelihood of a painful stiff neck if you’re not in a window. We didn’t think it was particularly well made either. It felt cheap. What we did like was the long strip of Velcro which made it adjustable for a wide range of neck sizes and we did feel it would fit a wider neck, but that’s a moot point if it cannot support the head. Overall, we wouldn’t keep it, even at half the price paid. Travelon Deluxe Wrap-N-Rest Pillow £26 Overall score : 7/10 The travelon is a very similar design to the BCOZZY but is far superior. It comes in a clear plastic case with a zip and is easy to get out and put away. The case wouldn’t prove durable but we still liked it more. The case is, however, far too big for hand luggage as the pillow isn’t ‘squashed’ inside and would eat up all your carry-on bag space, it’s more suited to vehicular/boat travel than air travel where you are not measured on space to the last millimetre. The Travelon pillow does not come with the little extras (eye-mask or earplugs) and it was also disappointing to not have a velcro fastener to secure it in place like the BCOZZY does. Whilst it did feel both comfortable and fully supportive, it is unlikely to stay put and it spread open when the head dropped down creating a gap for the chin to fall into, defeating its own purpose. Had we decided this was the best option I would have sewn Velcro or tie ribbons to it to ensure it stayed put. Everyone agreed this was better than its BCOZZY rival, and at almost half the cost would be worth a little sewing to optimise its use. But it wasn’t our top choice so I’ve saved myself some work. Proglobe Travel Neck Pillow 5/10 £23 Overall score: 5/10 We inadvertently ordered two of these thinking they were different and I’m pleased we did. We are able to say the comments below applied to BOTH Proglobe neck pillows as the build quality and materials are identical and it’s not just an isolated quality issue with the one we tried. The bottom line is that none of us liked this option. It came in a nice marketing box (looks more expensive than it is, and we really did like case that the pillow came in. It’s a little black zip case and it was super easy to roll up and put away with the centralised mid way (rather than on top) zip design. It has the best quality case and storage system of all the samples. It also had a nice clip to attach it externally to a bag or case which we liked. It also came with earplugs and a mask and the quality of these were ‘ok’ / average. The earplugs have a useful little plastic case to store them in but we didn’t like that they were all the same colour (black). You can of course mark the cases with the users name but other brands had colour co-ordinated earplugs that we thought was a better option. The fabric on the pillow was very nice and soft and the inside support is memory foam. That’s where this product lost all its stars. It felt like a cheap low density memory foam and it didn’t spring back after being unravelled. Hubby said leave it an hour and see, but we felt that defeated the point of having it for travel if you need to leave it so long to rebound into use. We didn’t feel the pillow offered any chin support at all, and, although the sides were slightly more robust, there was still a sense that you’d be the parcel shelf ‘nodding dog’ if you fell asleep wearing it. None of us rated this product highly and none of us said we would be happy to keep it. It is cheaper than most options, but its still a waste of money of it doesn’t do its job well. Primari Travel Neck Pillow for Sleeping 8/10 £35 overall: 8/10 AYhome Travel Pillow 9/10 £22 overall: 9/10 I’m reviewing the Primari and the AYhome together as they are so similar its impossible to tell them apart (except that they’re different colours). Hubby likes the Primari best and felt it was slightly less ‘throttling’ than the AYhome. I liked the AYhome best and felt it offered great snug support. The kids were equally split, but said they’d be happy with either. The only issue with the AYhome is the colour. It appears to only come in grey or pink (I got the pink one but pink pastel isn’t great for everyone). They model in a grey jersey fabric option had too long a delivery time (2 weeks) and wouldn’t arrive quickly enough. Whilst hubby said he marginally preferred the Primari brand for comfort, he didn’t like it sufficiently more to justify the additional 50% extra cost. But as the delivery delay is prohibitive, we are keeping the overpriced Primari, and for these reasons it lost points against the Ayhome. They both come with (different coloured) earplugs in a small case and a black face mask, which is of average quality. The storage/carry bag is the same as the BCOZZY and a real nightmare to pack up and as the toggle doesn’t close fully once its not factory finished, its easy for the earplugs to come out and get lost, so both products lost marks for the carry case. The pillows themselves are filled with what seems to be good high density, high quality, memory foam which had great spring back (almost instantly) and what feels like excellent support. I’m not sure I like the loose little Velcro pads over the Velcro closure on the pillow case. I think they’ll be lost on first use. But it’s good to have them to stop the Velcro catching when the pillows not being used. At £22 (at time of writing) the AYhome is by far the best option if you can get it in time.

Worth buying!
Easy & comfortable to use, right size, I’m happy that it has its own cover bag when not in use which keeps it clean.

Versatile and comfortable
I did a lot of research before ordering this product as I had a long flight ahead of me . I suffer from arthritic stiffness in my neck and shoulders so wanted good support without feeling too restricted. I’m 5’2” and have a short neck and find many travel neck supports to high. This one is perfect - soft , supportive and highly adjustable. The highest point can be worn on the right, left , front or back with easy Velcro fastening . Great choice of colours- I went for the purple and it’s lovely. It comes with a bag and fits easily into it. Has easy snap on strap to attach to backpacks. I used this on a long flight to India and wouldn’t have been without it . Well worth paying a bit more .

Great support in any position
This is a very well thought-out and designed neck pillow. My wife usually watches TV by falling asleep while watching, with her chin resting on her chest. She now uses this pillow and consequently maintains a straighter posture, which prevents further curving of her neck and upper spine. She finds it very comfortable, and can adjust the amount of support by simply turning it, since the thickness varies along its length. Another benefit is that it can be used in any position, like providing side support while travelling by car, plane, etc...

Great for upright or side leaning naps
It’s easy for a kid to use with only Velcro to put it on. On a flight when your kid is asleep and inevitably leans on you, you can lift their head and rotate the pillow to put the thick part down. This pillow won out cause you can fold it in half to lean on the window, and the case snaps to the pillow making it harder to loose. It's a traditional pola fleece cover on the kids version but doesn’t look baby like. I got three of these in different sizes. My large 9yo liked the adult version. The adult was too big or under filled for me and the larger youth was too small. We then ordered one of the flat back versions but both l agreed the regular one was better. This wasn’t the Goldilocks pillow for me Still a five star product

Super soft and yet firm beautiful pillow!!
This pillow is wonderful. It supports the neck and the head all at the same time. It served a lot of purpose while in the hospital. I also use it on my recliner. I could not have asked for a more comfortable pillow the quality and the firmness is soft enough I highly recommend it.

Worth the expense!
I was having very sore neck muscles, causing severe headaches 24/7. Called the orthopedic department at the local hospital for an appointment to see their back doctor. He was arriving in a month. My wife suggested I try the BCOZZY to help hold my head in position, especially when sitting in my recliner. So I purchased it. It was so good that I ordered a second one because I invariably left the first one either upstairs or downstairs when I was in the other location. Also, when it was being cleaned, I needed the neck support. I used one of them every day, sometimes both, one up and the other down. They have helped my neck muscles considerably, thus reducing the severity and number of headaches. I still have over two weeks to go for my orthopedic appointment. Very glad I followed my wife's suggestion.
