Vibes High Fidelity Earplugs – Comfortable and Reusable Hearing Protection for Concerts and Live Music, Virtually Invisible Design with Travel Case

First off, I've seen some reviews from customers complaining that Vibes earplugs don't block all sound... they would have known this had they bothered to read the descriptions and seen the images prior to purchase. They were designed to reduce the decibels of sound, not eradicate sound completely. Not many earplugs actually eradicate sound completely, for that you need ear defenders, or something called sound block which is like a putty for the ears. Foam plugs also still let some sound in so Idk what kind of miracle they were hoping for. That being said, these have been a bit of a miracle for me.I'm autistic, and sound has always been an issue for me. Ear defenders help keep the auditory overload from happening, but it then indicates to others that I'm autistic and though that can be helpful, it can also be harmful as we are then exposed as being vulnerable targets. Ear defenders also complicate matters when it comes to communication. I cannot hear what someone tells me or asks of me with my ear defenders on, but if I take them off I still cannot process what they are saying for all the background noise blends in with their voice. Vibes ear plugs bridge the gap. I can wear these to filter the sound, a filter that my brain does not have when it processes sound. By filtering out the unnecessary sounds around me whilst allowing me to still hear people close to me, makes it easier to function.Supermarkets are one of my biggest nightmares sound wise. The checkout beeps are greatly reduced with Vibes. I still hear them, but they are faint like they are in the distant. I can hold a conversation with a staff member. I can look at the deals and figure out if they are suitable for me and a good deal for my home situation, rather than be overwhelmed with so much sound that I can't do a simple math equation in my head to figure that information out. Though having ear defenders can help with this, like I said drawing attention to my autism puts me at a vulnerable risk of exposure.Vibes allow me to enjoy a movie without the sound overwhelming me or the sirens passing by causing distress as I overload. I've not tried them anywhere else yet due to Covid-19 rules, just for now, these earplugs are a blessing.Some people have said they don't fit right, have fallen out on stage during music performances and are therefore "dangerous" - well the sillicone buds they have on them when they arrive are for tiny children not adults, again it is suggested that you try on with the additional silicone buds in the packet to find your correct fit. Once you have them in they don't come out easily at all.There is also a convenient little case that can hold your Vibes Ear Plugs, as well as the alternative size silicone buds too.The price seems a little steep for these things, however I'm willing to pay it for the amount of relief I have from them and the difference they make in my life. They'll not be for everyone, as people have their own preferences and sensitivities to consider, so when looking through the reviews to decide on purchasing them or not, just keep in mind that some people clearly did not read the descriptions provided, nor did they see they were designed for musicians, and some didn't do as instructed. Being a blessing for my ASD auditory processing issues was not what they were designed for, however they have worked well for me. They are so comfortable I barely even notice them in my ears, until I start eating something and can hear my own chewing lol. Don't take a bad review to mean it's bad product, most of the time people just butt hurt they didn't read the description or instructions first and are blaming it on the product instead acknowledging their own mistakes. Pay them no mind. Make up your mind by deciding if they could be right for you.

I bought these earplugs as they were recommended for people with noise sensitivities. The vibes arrived on time in a neat black box, containing a thank you note, the earplugs encased in foam, and a black plastic case containing two additional sizes of the silicone buds.Upon putting them in, it feels like wearing in-ear headphones without anything playing in them. I was initially put off by that feeling because I could hear my breathing and myself talking much more than usual and I didn't like that (Note: I am very new to using earplugs for my noise sensitivity issues). I also tried using them while needing to run some shopping errands and I didn't enjoy them because everyone sounded too muffled and I already need to pay a lot of attention to people speaking to me to keep up with a conversation, so it was a bit distressing and frustrating in that context. I chucked them in the provided case and threw them in my backpack for going out and kind of forgot them for a while.But then I discovered their best use for my needs! Whenever I go out, I usually prefer noise cancelling headphones as they both lower outside noise and I get the auditory stimulation of music. But, on some days, all sound can be extremely overwhelming so I try to go headphone-free. However, I noticed that the noise of traffic or the supermarket are also distressing. I remembered my Vibes were in my backpack and I put them in and, they were perfect! I could literally hear myself calm down as my breathing slowed and I was no longer distressed by outside noise. The sound was still there but muffled, which was the exact fix I needed. I was able to take my time and carry out a small supermarket shop with them in as they took the edge off the high pitched beeping of the machines. So now I know I can rely on them as a tool for those high-sensitivity days, where I'd typically feel like I have no other choice but to stay indoors.In conclusion, I don't think it's meant to be a fix-all type of item - at least in isn't for me. However, if you are someone who gets stressed by background noises, it is definitely worth testing out for yourself. As I get more used to the earplugs, I would like to try them again for outdoor conversations. If they work in this context then they'll be worthy of a five star rating.

I am on the autistic spectrum (Asperger's) and have been using vibes for a couple of months now. I wanted to review them after I had been wearing them for a while in different environments. Vibes dampen noise, but still allow you to hear the conversation you're having with the person next to you.When all noises are equally loud around you, and it becomes overwhelming, vibes help to smooth the noise out, so you feel calmer and more in control.SupermarketsThe beeping of checkouts can still be heard, but it is less demanding on your senses and more manageable. The general hum of the supermarket and other noises from people is less intense. I often feel like I'm walking around in my own bubble and find the environment much easier to cope with. Sometimes I can even feel relaxed in this environment, with not been constantly assualted by noises. If I'm also wearing sunglasses with my vibes then it's even better.CarI didn't use them in my car at first, but I've tried them out at times when I know I won't have the energy to face lots of noise, or when I'm generally feeling overloaded.They really do calm the road noise and general hum of the vehicle and it feels quite relaxing. When I'm driving with my husband I always have the radio on low volume, and I'm regularly turning it up and down with changes in pitch, or due to sensitivity to certain sounds. Wearing vibes allows me to keep it at a certain level where we can all hear the radio, but due to the noise dampening effects I can cope with it more easily.Coffee shops/restaurants Vives really help with the intensity of the noise produced by coffee machines. The whistling and screeching no longer hurts my ears and head. Again, whilst I can still hear these noises, the effect is greatly lessened as vibes dampen all of the surrounding sound. If music is playing, people are talking and clattering dishes, then these noises are much more muted and easier to cope with. Better still, I can still have a conversation with my husband and I'm not overwhelmed by everything else going on around me. I can't eat wearing vibes though as the noise feels too intense. GeneralI feel that vibes are the filter that I don't have when it comes to noise. Normally I can hear every sound at the same level, regardless of where that sound is coming from. Wearing vibes allows me to concentrate on a conversation, or a task I'm doing, and they filter the noise for me, by reducing the volume and intensity of that noise, so I don't have to process it.Vibes are discreet and comfy. I have very small ears and can never wear ear buds as they don't fit. The smallest interchangable head is the best for me, and they don't feel tight or restrictive in my ears. I soon forget they're there.Nobody can see I'm wearing vibes and so I can get on with my day without any concerns.A word of warning, when taking vibes out, do this in a quieter environment as the sudden change in noise levels can be quite overwhelming and can easily make you feel nauseous.A great product, highly recommended. They're a lifesaver for me.

I bought these just over a year ago to protect at rock gigs and the like and they seemed just right for me.They're easy to get used to when wearing and seem to stop the loudest noises from getting through and damaging the ears.However, one of the buds came separated from the unit and now refuses to stay in place. I tried them again recently and only ten minutes later it became separated again, with the bud still in my ear and the unit falling out.

Like most people with autism, I have sensory issues, and in my case, hearing is the most bothersome out of the senses. It's not necessarily the loud noise itself that I had trouble dealing with, it's hearing multiple loud noises at once while trying to process it all, unlike most people, I can't filter out what I hear which was why I decided to find a solution. I tried earphones but most of the time they fall out, I was thinking of Noise-Cancelling headphones but they're too expensive, plus I wouldn't like the feel of the headphones pushing my ears.That was why I decided to try out these special earplugs by Vibes. Unlike the cheap earplugs, they don't block out sound, they instead filter sound. That means that you can still hear the details of the environment, just with a lower volume. As I put them on while I was out, I have noticed a remarkable difference! I was surprised that I could still hear the details of the environment I was in, the only difference was that the noise levels have decreased which has not only made me feel more relaxed, it also helped me focus on what I was doing. Now I can listen comfortably even when a child screams their lungs out, or when multiple people talk at once.The main downfalls were that you could easily lose them, so I will ensure I keep them in the same box they arrived in. Another would be hearing your own voice a little louder, which may be a downfall if you can't stand hearing your own voice 😅 but may be a bonus to those who unknowingly talk in a loud voice.These plugs have changed my life for the better, and they can help me study better since there will be less disturbance from the loud environment. For me, they were well worth the money. 👍

I just got these going to control my my noise related OCD symptoms. After seeing some reviews relating to them not making any difference, I became sceptical, but thought for the price I'll give it a go.First off, people need to understand that these are NOT designed to block noise or entirely. In fact quite the opposite, these are meant to enable you to focus better on the sound that matters without getting distracted or upset by louder or more prominent sounds.I'm my case I am more able to hear more level, dull sound, like car engines it planes flying over, even my next doors TV, and it really irritates me as it's all I can concentrate on.Now I can see that these may not work for everyone's particular issue. If your problem related to higher pitches, then this may actually make your focus increase more on those depending on what part of the high tone affects you.I've been wearing these for 30 minutes now and the difference is really noticeable. I can still hear everyone (although at a reduced level), but the lower tones I usually hear and other noises which get in the way are less\gone. It's almost as though if I'm looking at something like the TV, my hearing becomes focused on just that and other sounds are blocked. If I look at my wife talking, the TV becomes less prominent. Admittedly, being able to focus on my wife talking could be classed as a negative affect, so I could argue I should take a star away for that :).All in all, at least so far, I'm very pleased. I will update this later should me thoughts on the product change.

I bought these are they are advertised for people with autism spectrum disorder and associated noise sensitivity. For many years I have been using wax earplugs, which apparently block out about 25 decibels, and are excellent for sleeping and studying (and very cheap at 5 pairs for 3 pounds). Nonetheless, I shouldn't use them when cycling in traffic, as although they block out the sound of cars honking and police whistles, they also block out the sound of approaching cars, so it's quite a surprise when they overtake me and potentially dangerous. I also can't really use the wax earplugs when out with my boyfriend, needing to maintain a conversation with him whilst protecting myself from the sound of nearby phones pinging. and loud chatter That's where the VIBES earplugs have come in. I still prefer the wax ones for sleeping and studying and general quiet, but these VIBES ones help a lot when cycling, in shopping centres or out with my boyfriend. They do provide some all-round reduction of noise, but they provide extra protection for high-pitched frequencies. Basically, noise remains unpleasant but becomes bearable when unavoidable and this has helped me improve my quality of life and mobility. I would still warn against using them for high exposure to noise and expecting everything to be okay though. I used these for an hour in a packed, noisy hospital waiting room and ended up having to leave the hospital becuase the noise got too much. I should've remembered the need to protect my brain as much as possible and used the wax ones. So basically, the VIBES ones are very good for some situations, but won't be appropriate as a stand-alone for all situations.

I bought these cause I’m in a rock band. It works awesome! Allows me to still hear the music clear but limits the volume to not make my ears ring at the end of the night. They are really comfortable too and translucent so people have a hard time seeing that you are even wearing them. I used them both at a rehearsal with my band and at a gig and it works magnificent for both. They are a little pricey but if you use them and don’t lose them I think it is really worth it cause it is an investment and the company isn’t that big yet so good to help a start up company

よくあるウレタン製耳栓だと会話が聞こえづらいデメリットがありましたので、大きな音を防ぎつつ会話をちゃんと聞き取れる耳栓がないかなと思って探していたら、この商品に巡り会いました。　まず、タイトルにあるように耳栓でありながらちゃんと会話が聞こえて、尚且つ高周波音や大きな音を防いだり気にならない音量まで軽減してくれるので、これまでの耳栓とは常識を逸脱した不思議な耳栓です！　雷の音なども流石に完全に防げるわけではないですが、近くに落ちてもちょっとびっくりして｢あ、近くに落ちたんだ｣と思う程度まで気にならなくなりましたので、雷が苦手という方にも非常におすすめです！　ただ、1つ注意点が、この耳栓の基部が透明の薄いプラスチックでできていて非常にデリケートな作りをしているようで、落としたりすると簡単にヒビが入ったりして破損してしまいますので、絶対に落とさないように気をつけてください！(私も1回うっかり落としてしまい、動画のようにヒビが入ってしまいました)　恐らく金属製のケースが付属しているのも耳栓自体がかなり割れやすいからだと考えられますので、未使用時は付属のケースにしっかりしまっておく事をおすすめします。　また、耳栓本体が水洗いできるかどうかの記載がなく、場合によっては浸水によって壊れる可能性もあるかもしれませんので、耳が湿りやすい方はこまめにイヤーピースを外してお手入れされた方が良いかもしれません。
