Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Crème – Shade 5 Mocha Brown I’ve been using this hair dye for years and it never lets me down. It gives excellent grey coverage and leaves my hair looking shiny, glossy, and healthy. The colour comes out a little dark at first, but after a few washes it settles into the perfect mocha brown. Reliable, gentle, and always a great result.

As someone with mid brown hair but a great deal of red pigment undertones, it has been very difficult to find a home hair dye kit that actually takes to my hair. Finally I have. I recommend a thin layer of Vaseline over the skin on face and back of neck to avoid dye on skin (not essential, but makes clean up easier). I also suggest really heavily massaging the dye into the greyest areas for a full and complete finish. A great product

Dislike: Postage came smashed The box was a wreck as seen in photos but the products inside were intact Desperately needed to fix my hair so I didn’t return and still used it as needed Likes: Easy to use I grew my hair out during lockdown and half my hair was bleached as it used to be platinum ash grey It covered on the first dye as much as I expected it to be So far it still remains dark brown and my bottom half looks dark gold tints brown. It evens out my hair to look better
