We chose the Chelsea Doll Cottage as a Christmas present for our soon-to-be 2-year-old daughter. We are absolutely delighted with it. As is she! Our own cottage is too small to hide such a big gift so we didn't put it together until Christmas Eve but luckily everything we needed was provided & the house slowly but surely came together with clear, concise instructions. The backdrops for each room are very nicely rendered, the vintage looking furniture is a lovely touch & the overall effect is quirky without being too pink & cutesy. Just what we wanted. I would have preferred that the stairs be something other than clunky white plastic & have noticed two small peels beginning on the exterior balcony but, those quibbles aside, the cottage is smashing. We haven't had a bad product from Kidkraft so far & this in particular is one I would highly recommend. The attention to detail is exemplary for the reasonable price (with even the screws colour coordinated to their position) & it has quickly become a favourite plaything.

This was bought as a present for my 3 year old daughter and I can honestly say it is the best present she has ever had. She plays with this every day and nearly a year on, does not seem to tire of it! The house is big and sturdy with lots of lovely details - I especially like the pretty wall paper. All the accessories are also really well made and you can easily add to the collection if you need to as the sizes are quite standard. Easy to put together and so pretty, it will provide many hours of playtime fun for a young child.

Very nice dolls house and easy to assemble. The stickers numbering the pieces need to be placed on edges as they mark the middle of the paint job once removed, and a couple of scratches, and an H but missing, but wasn't in an essential place, so house is sturdy without it. Rapid delivery though and daughter loves it! Aged nearly 5

I scoured the internet looking for a suitable dolls house for my 2 and half yr old girl. I initially was thinking of the ELC one ( think it's Rosebud Cottage) as I saw her play with it at playgroup. Settled on the Kidcraft chelsea doll cottage and was delighted when it arrived and was very quickly out together. Absolutely beautiful and much bigger than expected. the quality is excellent and furniture sturdy..it looks simply gorgeous. Any little would love it and as a mum i would recommend it highly. I also read the reviews on the family to buy with it and again went on recommendation and bought Melissa and Doug family....best choice.

Beautiful dolls house. Think I dreamed of this when I was young! Really easy to put together even though it looks more involved once you get started it's fine. Really well labelled and good instructions. Nothing was missing and fitted well. The accessories are lovely touch too. I would recommend this brand they've clearly thought it through well and I can't wait to see little ones face when she opens it Christmas day! Either way it's getting played by her or jealous mother!

Bought this dolls house in the summer sale ready for Christmas so excellent bargain. Easy to put together and the furniture that comes with it is chunky for little hands so easy to play with. The house is good quality and very colourful. Feels sturday not at all flimsy. Only downside, does not come with a family but I just bought the ELC Rosebud House family and they fit perfectly. Would definately tell a friend about this. Worth the money even at full price.

Great sturdy doll's house with furniture all individually wrapped. Looked at lots of different versions and this came up as excellent value for money. Bought as a birthday present for my 5 year old but her younger sister (nearly 2) also loves it. The fact that it is open plan and can see internally means you don't have to worry about opening doors (saving space) or lifting up panel off the roof (avoids any trapped fingers too!) Partner spent about 30mins screwing together the panels to the house. House and furniture nicely designed and very solid structure. Need to buy a dolls family separately. Highly recommended.

I bought this dolls house for my 3 year old granddaughter's birthday. The instructions about how to put it together were easy to follow. The house is pretty but it is flimsy. Every piece is labelled with a little numbered sticker but unfortunately, a few of the stickers were stuck on so well that when I peeled them off the paint pattern came off the part as well. I did not put the house together until the night before her birthday so I couldn't send it back. Not worth £89.99. The maximum I would have paid is £60.
