Masters The 2.5oz Brush Cleaner,Transparent

As per my previous review (?!), it’s an excellent product- cannot praise it highly enough.

This is AMAZING stuff - it brought old brushes, that were over 15 years old back to life! Stiff brushes that I didn't want to throw away were revitalised, and even ones I thought were clean had more paint drawn out from them. What's great too is that you can leave it on brushes that are filthy, or for those that need some extra conditioning.One final thing that was great was that it was not bad for you, or your skin. It took me a couple of hours (on and off) to clean all my brushes and by the end my hands were soft too - there are no hazardous warnings on it.I used one large pot for all my brushes, and will be ordering more!now it is a few months later - and I have found more uses for this wonderful stuff - in my workroom I had spilt some silk paint on my carpet 5 years ago, and tried everything at the time to get it off and nothing did - so I hid it. I had a tiny bit of this brush cleaner left, and so thought I would try it - to my delight the silk paint came out! Well worth it - just ordering my second tub

It is a reasonably good product, assists the cleaning process and helps to revive badly treated Brushes, but requires repeated applications and can't really cope with Brushes that have dried hard

Honestly, an absolute game changer. I paint Warhammer 40k models and ruined a few brushes, I bought this because it was recommended on Reddit and it is INCREDIBLE it keeps the shape of every brush and cleans them perfectly and I haven't ruined a brush since. Please buy this product I promise you you'll use it every time you paint.

I'd read about this on forums and thought I'd check it out. This is my second pot, I really wouldn't be without it. This first time I used it I'd been using a Games Workshop large dry brush and I'd really punished the brush to the point that it really was ready to be thrown away. The bristles were pointing in every direction and it seemed that no 2 bristles were touching. It was a complete mess. I cleaned the brush using this cleaner and the brush not only improved, I think went back to the condition it was in when I bought it! I've since used it on Windsor and Newton brushes, first cleaning with water and thinking the brush was already clean. Once you use this cleaner you'll see paint being removed from the brush you thought was already clean. It cleans and moisturises your brushes meaning your brushes will last longer and you won't be purchasing new brushes as often. I'd recommend this to anybody, it's a wonderful product.--- I've only used this for cleaning brushes after using acrylic paints.

A bit of an expensive purchase for a novice oil painter but it was recommended to me as a way to preserve your brushes and save money later. It does really clean the oil paint off extremely well and conditions the brushes. it makes them easier to reshape and doesn't cause them to 'fluff' up which seems to happen if you just use ordinary soap and water. It's also a great alternative to thinners and cleaners especially for smaller brushes.And it doesn't seem to wear down fast like normal soap!

I have always struggled to keep brushes up to there best despite frequent washing and cleaning - I saw this product whilst looking for some new paints for a project I was working on - I read a number of reviews and decided to purchase the item. I was very impressed - it cleaned up some of my older brushes so they were useable again, and also used it on my newer brushes. Very pleased with the results. Excellent product. After each use I have found it best to wipe the surface of the product with a paper towel to remove any paint that may have been left on the surface.
