Gro-Sure Aqua Gel Coated Smart Grass Lawn Seed, 25 m2, 1 kg

Used this to grow some grass and it’s worked well in the end. It took a couple of weeks before anything started to grow, so you do need to be patient. Once it started, the grass came through nicely. Easy to use and no mess. Happy with it overall.

Took a bit longer than stated in ideal temperature and watering. Grass was scarified to bare soil to begin and the photo is after 3 weeks. So great seed, just don’t panic, takes a bit longer but once it shoots it does what grass does, a few days later it’s all green. The colour is outstanding when compared to neighbours.

Good seed that germinates very easily within a couple of weeks

Great product. This is my 2nd box and the results are very good in patching some gaps in the lawn where I have taken out shrubs. Results are quick to notice when it starts coming through. Good buy

First time trying, Very Slow and inconsistent growth

As far as I can qualify there is no gel coating and the seed is most definitely NOT blue. This appears to be just everyday standard grass seed and also it is certainly not fast germinating! I purchased this specifically because it was supposed to be fast germinating with the protection of a gel coating, I'm really disappointed with this grass seed. I could have purchased more than 3 times the amount of standard seed for the same price!

Needed to re-seed the whole lawn, which was done in sections so that I could water it without walking on the new growing areas. The old lawn had drainage and a soak away installed then the remaining area was rotavated. Once lever the grass seed was spread and lightly raked in and patted down. Watered it lightly every evening and within 4 days shoots were popping up. Once established thinly covered patches had addition seed applied which started growing in 4 days. Now I’ve gone the whole lawn (200msq) using the same rotavate, level, seed, pat down and water daily method and in every instance grass is growing within 4 days. Well impressed with the outcome and much much cheaper than turf. Which would need similar steps but instant lawn. Would I do the same again? Certainly.

Grass seed germinates well and has a high success rate. The grass is resilient and thick enough to withstand pet activity. Lovely thick green appearance. Easy to use, would recommend.
