King Cole 64034 Big Value Super Chunky Denim Yarn - 81M, 100g

This is decent wool at a good price, and I'll certainly find a use for it, but I was very disappointed when I opened the package as the colour is hugely different from the picture.It is called "denim" and the picture features a sort of grey-blue (exactly the colour I needed for my current project) but in reality the wool is very dark navy blue, with almost a purple tone.Not the end of the world, but I'm not that keen to buy more wool online if I can't rely on the pictures.

I started knitting a hat which the pattern said would take a 100g ball. Unfortunately I ran out of wool before finishing it. I then decided on a headband which would still keep my ears warm.The ball actually weighed 90g.

This yarn is just perfect to knit a winter hat. It was long and thick enough for the hat. I really enjoyed knitting with the yarn. The color was so greyblue like that of old jeans that the hat looks a bit pale blue and nice in the sun. I am going to give it away to my husband for a small gift. I am pretty sure that he will love it. :))

To knit a jacket.

Really soft and chunky wool. It is more blue/ grey than the photo shows but still a lovely shade.

Lovely wool, started knitting a cardigan with it yesterday and looking good so far! Obviously I can't comment on how it washes up yet as my garment isn't finished, but will come back on and update at later date! Should also say, that the wool was delivered (along with my knitting pattern), really quickly.

Wool ok can can go hard when knitting. Hopefully will soften when washed
