My filter started to block from blanketweed. I have a Nexus 220 and the grills that the water passes were covered in the stuff. The temp was just 9'C my pond is about 5,000 gallons, as I bought a 4Kg tub, I discided to try and make it last 2 goes so I put in 666g to put in 3x once a week. I put the first one in and in 2 days my filter blocked again, the blanketweed was dying and was going into the filter, I cleaned again then got my net in the pond about 80% of the weed was loose. I started the filter again and put a small net in the intake which clogged up, but after about 4 hours the blanketweed slowed down. Will it be gone before I put the second one in.I've not used anything that works this fast.

This is an excellent product to completely stop algae in a pond. I'm so happy to have this and it will save me a lot of money paying someone every now and then to clean an algae filled pond. The delivery was also quick. Very good product indeed and highly recommended.

Took a little longer than the quoted 3 weeks, and had to use about twice as much as recommended. But it has now gone! And no adverse effect to my 3 big Koi or numerous smaller Goldfish (or newts). Have tried numerous other products - this is the first to actually work - eventually.

I bought a 4kg Aqua Stop Blanketweed. I mix and put into the pond weekly. The blanket weed has gone but the pond still green like pea soup. According to my pond size( not a large pond), I only need 3 scoops of measurement, now I use 8 scoops( in case I didn't measure the pond right). it still does not clear up the water. I have a pump filter tank with uv light. have I use the wrong product or can anyone give me some advice?

I dislike the high price but the product is great

works but expensive

…. in the space of a few weeks and the blanketweed is still there!

A few doses and within a couple of weeks all blanket weed has gone.
