These spikes strong and durable. We have used these on top of our AC compressor unit in the balcony. Earlier, we used to have pigeons squatting and pooping all the time. Setting up these spikes instantly stopped all that mess.I cleaned the top of the compressor unit with water, let it fully dry. Then used a two-sided permanent adhesive tape to install 5 strips of these spikes on top of the unit. I had bought a set of 5, and that has sufficed. Just to be on the safe side, I also applied the silicone sealant around the base of each strip to make it stick and stay.No sign of pigeons after installation! The green colour also suited our balcony which has lot of potted plants. Will definitely use these for any future needs.
