VR CoverMemory Foam Replacement 6mm for HTC Vive (2 pcs) (Better FOV)

If you have a VIVE then you need these replacements for your foam padding. Not only is it way more comfortable than the original ones the VIVE comes with it also really does increase your field of view. I'd estimate it gives you an extra 5 degrees to either side. It doesn't sound a lot but it makes a notable difference to your peripheral vision. In Elite Dangerous I also saw a significant reduction to the flare that you get from bright lights on dark backgrounds due to the fresnel lenses.The only down side is that they probably are not suitable for people who wear glasses or those with long eye lashes as your eyes will be significantly closer to the lenses.You get two in a pack which is great news if more than one person uses the VIVE especially if they get sweaty!

An improvement from the fabric foam pads that came with the Vive. These pads do not retain moisture in the same way and are therefore easier to wipe down following use. Often times before, with the default Vive pads, I would find myself switching them out during a play session because they were retaining moisture (perspiration), but after fitting one of these pads to my Vive I've never had reason to remove it and/or change it since.

Just as comfy if not more than the original and obviously better clean-ability, however it's not a snug fit so it overlaps or wrinkles which doesn't give as neat an appearance as I'd like.

After having replaced the original HTC Vive foam cushions a while back and finding them to be highly unhygienic I started searching around for a solution on various online VR enthusiast communities, VR Cover have been recommended just about everywhere and so I decided to bite the bullet and take the plunge, I started with VR Covers expensive cotton covers they are quite small and just about fit on the original Vive Foam cushions but are manageable, however the 6mm leather cushions have the opposite problem, they are too big, the cotton covers do not fit them at all, it's rather surprising that a company with such a good reputation so far can make such a big mistake, your own website recommends buying these two products together yet they aren't even compatible, maybe it was a production mistake but some quality control issues are clearly present here.

Would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a replacement front plate for your FTC Vive as it is so much more comfortable than the original foam one and enables me to play for much longer without irritating my face

They block out that little gap between your nose and the head set which makes it feel a bit more immersive though I don't think they really do anything for the FOV that anyone will notice. They are very comfortable but I don't think they are worth the price.

Fits nice, increased FOV. People with kong eyelashes may need to adjust the pisition of the lens assembly but not enough to cancel the increased FOV effect that this provides.
