25kg Bag of Decorative White Silica Sand - Art and Crafts, Aquariums

Finally got round to using this as i have redone my large aquarium. Excellent sand but very fine so make sure you won't have any issues with your filter picking it up.I didn't wash it as it didn't seem to need it and had no cloudy water at all. Looks great in the tank and is pristine white.Arrived quickly and well packaged and from the research i have done is a good price especially with free postage as it is a bit heavy. Highly recommended.

A nice bright white. Very fine and whisps around easily, settling on everything if disturbed, which is a bit of a pain. Still really like it overall.

I’ve order 2 bags of this sandwich for new 300 Ltr fish tank. It didn’t come as prime delivery but did come in time for when I wanted to set it up. The sand wasn’t too powdery so quite easy to wash and put in the tank. It looks really good and one bag was more than enough for what I needed. Although I added probably a quarter more from the 2nd bag as I wanted to sink some plants in with the baskets on. There’s no fish in there so can’t tell you how dirty or easy it will be to clean once nys populated but it looks great.

Bought this for my new aquarium where I wanted to keep Corys as they like fine sand. I put in my substrate for the plants and dumped half the bag of sand on top. Using a jug I carefully poured the water into the tank and no signs at all of cloudiness in the water. Once I had a few centimetres of water above the sand I planted my plants, still no cloudy water so I carried on filling to the top of the tank. I still have nearly half of the bag of sand for a future aquarium.

This sand is like fairy dust .it's amazing no clouding . I didn't wash it as so fine I would've lost so much. Jst slowly filled tank stunning ..

This sand is beautiful! Pure brilliant white! Looks like icing sugar when you open the bag! I had no way of rinsing this off without loosing most of it down the plug hole so I winged it and added it to my tank. I filled my tank straight after and this is what it looked like! Clear as a bell. No cloudiness or settling time just lovely. Check your measurements as I super over ordered 😬 but I’m sure I’ll use it up over the next 5 years or so haha
