1080P Mini Spy Cam Hidden LXMIMI HD Nanny Web Cam with Night Vision and Motion Detection for Home Security Surveillance

I bought this cam for a hedgehog attraction den I built in the garden.+ Connects to the computer via USB and it charges.+ The camera definitely has night vision and the movement detection certainly works.- However, (I now discover) not at the same time. The memory is not enough to last all night so you need to start filming when it detects movement. So this is a major drawback.- Also, read all the other reviews about the sequence of presses and light colours that signify what mode it is in. Basically, you follow the instructions an have no idea what mode it is in.I simply could not be bothered to send it back.Will never find out who or what eats that little cap of dogmeat every night!

Ordered this mini spy camera for home security and surveillance which so far is working quite well.The camera cube is very sleek with rounded edges with a slight rubber feel. The camera itself is very easy to hide away, the only things that might give it away is when light reflects off the lense or the coloured strips that are stuck on.The picture and video quality is pretty good for such a small little camera. At 1080p the video quality is very smooth which would be great for when you need to look back at footage which also comes with a date and time stamp on each picture or video. The data is recorded onto a micro sd card which makes it very convenient for file transfer. One point I will make is that the camera does not really support wide angle so it will not be able to focus on the whole room like you might want but it captures enough.Overall I think its a very decent camera with good quality images. I have mine quite well hidden and no ones managed to notice it yet.

Although this appeared to work okay at first, It has only been used three times to try out the quality of video etc, which to be fair is quite good.However I was a bit worried when the camera kept getting hot when plugged in to charge, and finally one time I plugged it into the laptop and it said the usb device has failed, and I noticed it again was very hot, then the red light went out, and the unit refuses now to turn on at all.Very disappointed how little time it has lasted and really annoyed that it looks like it has to be returned to seller.

size wise it is small, instructions were in pigeon English and difficult to understand. I still haven't worked out how to use and I'm not even sure it has motion sense as I followed the instructions and left I got one set of video then the second was just white noise. There has to be better on the market than this. Oh, when you get it to work the film quality is good. WHEN you get it to work

I wasn't expecting much from this product and it still massively disappoints, Extremely poor video quality, loose connections, badly designed (usb and microSD),Instructions written in very poor broken English Actual Instructions read as - "The red light will flash when it be Charged, after battery is full the red light will long stay."it is also fiddly and awkward to setup/use not helped by useless instructions, most files it saves are corrupted, COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY !!! AVOID !!!!!!ABSOLUTE JUNK !!!!!

Excellent hidden camera detector. For us, it will be dual purpose - 1) for home security & surveillance, 2) for use as an action camera on holiday, at Airshows, etc.... As you will see from my photos, it clips onto my Husband's shirt & onto a wall decoration in our hall and is very inconspicuous. You could always use it as a web camera too :)Incredibly easy to set-up (even for a technophobe like me!!) using the full instructions provided. The visual output quality is crystal clear and certainly exceeds our expectations!!! The night vision capabilities ensure 24hr surveillance. The built-in microphone means that audio is also recorded.Excellent, thank you.
