It’s incredibly well done and anyone familiar with Haynes manuals will appreciate the jokes even more. My dad kept saying how accurate some of the sections were, which probably says a lot about how quickly he’s settled into retired life already. It’s a light-hearted, funny read and perfect as a retirement gift. Overall, a brilliant little book that gave everyone a good laugh. Next day Amazon delivery didn't happen
Item is great and very funny but Amazon delivery a day later than promised meant it wasn't given to the person intended for their birthday meaning I've got to either post it or do an 80 mile round trip to deliver it. Although they emailed to say it would be a day later delivery that wasn't much use to me as I bought this mainly because it was next day delivery. Don't make promises you can't keep Amazon! 5* for the item though so not the sellers fault
