Rit Kentucky Sky synthetic dye
This is great dye but it's for synthetic cloth.Worked a treat on a cotton product but gives a bit lighter colour maybe?Worked in my favour as I got a much nicer colour match to what I wanted. It took about an hour but its not for cotton remember.I have other colours for cotton which give a much richer colour much quicker.Id recommended this brand 100% nice bottles to keep it in.Its a bit pricey maybe I'm no dye expert but I'd pay it again. 1 bottle will do around 2 adult t shirts at a guess.I used it for action figure clothing restoration project and have a lot left so for me at least great value

Good but needs a touch up
The dye works decently, providing vibrant color at first, but it fades quicker than expected. The application process is straightforward, and it doesn’t stain skin too badly, which is a plus. However, the color didn’t last as long as advertised, especially after a few washes. It's a good option for temporary color but may need frequent touch-ups to maintain vibrancy.

Not worth the money
If I could give this 0 stars I would. I used it on a creamy mesh top, it turned it a dirty khaki brown black, very strange colour. Not worth the money. I followed the instructions to the letter. Pretty disappointed

Good dye,works well✨
Bought this dye to dye a jellycat smudge bunny and this was my first time dying anything 😅 very easy to use and works well , I didn’t add a lot of dye since I wanted it to be a light peachy orange colour which is exactly what I got but the more dye u add the more colour! Works on 100% polyester! Will defo be dying more smudge bunnies with this in the future <3

Perfecto

You CAN use in your washing machine, if...
I ordered a fuzzy vest that was supposed to be a khaki-brown color from China. So, I really shouldn't have been surprised when, three-weeks later, it arrived and it was a bright PINK. No where near the color I ordered. Sending it back would be a hassle and a loss of money while finding another one was proving impossible. It was exactly what I needed for a costume but the WRONG COLOR. Desperate, I decided to dye it. Having no idea what it was made out of (again, China), I figured nothing natural and I went with this dye.Only problem? The vest didn't fit in any of our pots to "cook" it on the stove for half an hour. So, figuring I had nothing more to lose (the vest was going in the trash if the dyeing made it look awful or to charity if the dye didn't take), I put it in our washing machine. I ONLY did this because our washing machine gets VERY HOT and has a SOAK setting that allows me to time how long I want to soak an item. I put the vest in and waited until it got to the SOAK cycle. Then I paused it, poured in the dye, stirred it around with a big wooden spoon, and then restarted it. Nothing left to do but hope for the best. The picture speaks for itself. It is no longer a bright baby pink. It is a light brown! I'd prefer it a little darker (maybe doing it on the stove top would have provided such results or using two bottles of dye in the washer), but it is much closer to what I need. So, yes, this product works. AND, if you luck out and have the "right" kind of washing machine, you MAY be able to get away with putting larger items in it with this dye.

Facile
Très simple d’utilisation et l’on peut facilement gérer la nuance au fur et à mesure.

Incredible. 500D 1000D cordura, no problem !
Used this as an experiment to dye old tactical gear mostly 500D and 1000D cordura, and inherently plastics and Velcro associated with that kind of gear. Water+tiny bit of dish soap or detergent and boil keep things moving don’t let anything settle or bunch up allow the dye to roam freely through the fabrics etc I let it boil for longer than instructions call for however they seems to take color in only a few minutes. Overkill, maybe. Did no harm. Even the plastic on the buckles tool color and not the kind you can nick off with your nail I mean on a molecular level. Very impressive. After I removed all my stuff fishing around for it in the pitch black water I let it sit as I did the post dye washing process ( tongs are much recommended for this entire project by the way ) I decided I would toss some more stuff in the hot dye some pouches different odd ball materials to see how the dye would take. Brought to boil again etc. it dyed just as good as the first batch. Really really effective fabric dye. Really affordable too. One thing was to make sure the fabric were thoroughly washed beforehand to removed dirt or soil that would circumvent dye penetrance and I did so with the rubbing the material against itself I a soapy solution. The results of my project came out a hundred times better than what I had expected. I used a hot place out doors they say it’s non toxic but dye vapor can’t be good for you in any context.I dyed coyote brown and FDE 500D and 1000D cordura materials to black and o couldn’t have wished for a better outcome. The fact that it even dyed the plastics on a molecular level as well just really put the icing on the cake.
