Mighty good!
Bought one based on other reviews, can say with certainty, this is a good buy. A little bit of assembly required out of the box but nothing severe, and if you are practical enough to use a chainsaw then it shouldn't be any problem. Read the manual first, it's not something I do normally, but I did on this occasion, fuel it and oil it according to the manual. Mine started up on the third pull from cold and for the first time out of the box. Great machine, cuts a foot diameter log with no problem, it's not heavy, it's well balanced and it's good on fuel. It's about average size for a chainsaw. Supplied with two chains, a toolkit, fuel bottle and a not altogether very high quality bag to store it, but it serves its purpose. This machine competes with the better makes like husqvarna, which I have used but prefer the Parker. From hot, this saw starts first time, just be sure to check the chain tension after first use because the chains stretch a bit. Can't fault it for this money, not expensive, and the manual is written in understandable English, but then again I think the Parker brand is a UK company anyway even if the saws made abroad.

Very impressed!
Bought this to replace an old Spear and Jackson 14” chainsaw and have been really impressed. Easy to put together, very easy to start and supplied chain performed really well. Cut up a fallen tree, which was about 2 feet thick and it handled the job with ease. Nice and powerful and really good value.

The saw does exactly what it states so,use as instructed and, stay safe...!!
Clear and concise instructions, straight forward assembly.Cuts cleanly and quickly. A little on the heavy side but, it is a big saw.. What chainsaw does not make noise !! Good value for the money and no hesitation recommending it.

Fantastic product regardless of price.
I have left it a year to write this review, as I can’t see the point of a review until a product has been tested. Well I have tested this big time!I used to have an ex-Forestry -Commission professional Husqvarna chain saw, which served me well, but finally died.In June last year, I had a massive bough, from an equally massive oak tree come down, which covered an area the size of a tennis court, and was 36 inches diameter at the fractured end.I urgently needed a large powerful chain saw, saw this, and thought at that price I will be happy if it lasts as long as required to finish the job.I was impressed from the start. The product was well packaged, arrived promptly, and looked and felt very good quality. It even came with a clear colour handbook, in proper English.Easy to assemble, it fired up first time, and over the next few months I set about my task. I used both chains, sharpening both twice, before discarding, and buying a further 2 chains (£6 each). In all the time I was using the saw, if fired up every time cold or hot, something my Husqvarna baulked at! If I had to move some logs, I didn’t mind stopping the saw, in the knowledge that it would start on the first light pull. The saw cut like a hot knife through butter, and when it came to the trunk, I really had to put it to the test, having to cut through from both sides, because even the 20 inch bar could only reach half way through. I had a few mishaps, requiring the use of a heavy jack to free up the saw, but each time, it came out unscathed. After all this work, apart from the paint worn off the cutter-bar, the saw looks, sounds, and works as good as new. This is a very good quality product in its own right. For the price, it is ridiculously good value for money.I would buy another one tomorrow, but I don’t have to, because mine’s still perfect.

Excellent chainsaw
I see why this chainsaw has won awards. I have tried a few saws to be quickly disappointed by it's reliability/durability . An absolute bargain for the product you receive.

Unsatisfactory experience
I returned the chainsaw because it wouldn't work. The excuses I got from Parker Products kept being changed each time. They wouldn't admit that the saw was faulty but kept 'passing the Buck'. First they said that they made it operate after the second pull. They then said that they couldn't find the box. They said that I didn't let them have the tracking number but I gave them all the information from Hermes who transported the saw. Finally, they said it was delivered to some woman who lived three miles down the road. On the box were two labels clearly showing my address and that of the recipient. As I pointed out, Hermes wouldn't take the box until their label was attached and as I said, they can read their own labels.I have had a lot of trouble with Parker Products over this chainsaw who keep trying to put the blame on me because I couldn't get it to work. I hate to say this but I am sure that they are looking at every possible excuse to avoid the blame and therefore make the customer pay for any expenses. They initially said that if they don't find that there is nothing wrong with the saw then the onus is on me. I have had a number of emails from Parker and each one has a different reason for the saw not working. They said that it worked after two pulls and then said that they couldn't find the box. They then said that it was sent to the wrong address when there were two address labels, covered in cellotape, on the box. My message is BEWARE.

Good piece of kit.
Good bit of kit, didn’t take long to put together although oil drip chain lubrication screw is a bit fiddly to get right.Another read of starting instructions & it did what it said it would do, started.A quick couple of logs later (one 7ft long by 1ft diameter) & the thing never missed a stroke let alone two 😉 another review in a couple of weeks once it’s been kicked around the yard and the back of the van but I like what I see so far.
