These battery holders do exactly as I expect them to. In the "Rate features" categories, here are the breakdowns:* Sturdiness: 4 stars. They're sturdy enough for their intended purpose, but I reserve 5 stars for something that is Pelican case quality.* For traveling: 5 stars. They're no bigger or heavier than necessary, and easily fit in small pockets of a backpack.* Water resistance: 3 stars. For their intended purpose, they repel light sprinkles just fine. Also, being solid plastic, they don't absorb water. However, these cases are by no means sealed, and water, dust, etc. can easily ingress. 4 stars would be for a case with a seal. 5 stars would be for Pelican case quality seal.

After ordering these cases, they arrived promptly. The closure/latch is tight enough I do not think they will open accidentally. I like that they are versatile for either AA or AAA batteries. While I do not keep all of my spare batteries in dedicated plastic cases, I do keep specific batteries for high priority items segregated in these cases so I always have batteries for these devices (battery operated thermostats, TV/stereo master remote, certain clocks).I would definitely order these again if the need arises.

I keep all my AA/AAA batteries in these. They work great. My only criticism is they are a little harder to open when full of AA batteries.

3 of the 6 cases are too small for AA batteries. The 3 cases won't close.

These cases do not fit aaa batterys very well, you cannot close the lids, because the rounded tops catch on the batterys, now these work best on aa
