It doesn't work.....
OK so I purchased this so that I could play CD's in my car (yes I know I am old fashioned but I dont care). So I needed the cable to plug the CD player (which works fine) into my AUX connection on the car. I tested the cable first on my laptop with the USB connection - it wont work. The USB connector has a really tight fit for some reason, I had to really push it in. Although the light came on the CD player, the door would not open and it kept making a spinning noise. There was no sound and I could not access the CD player on my "files" because it was not showing up. Similarly, I then tried it in the car using the AUX connection and the exact same thing happened. The CD player works because I can use it on another USB lead. So sadly this cable that I purchased for the car, is total rubbish.

Fitted connection ipod well
None of the new universal connections fitted my old ipod. This fitted well ipod now charging
