KandyToys Race to Base Board Game - 2-4 Players, Age 4+

If you little one likes to throw the dice too much and loves running after it this game is perfect to keep them at the table. We have been taking it on holidays with us, it’s super portable and greet fun for the whole family :)

My grandchildren are five and a half and in their first year at school. The change in their understanding and desire to do things is utterly staggering. And of course numbers is part of this so I bought this. Both my twin grandchildren got it. It only took a few minutes of help and the occasional bit of guidance once the game started and we were off. Elements of competition of which losing is part of it and hence a useful thing. Counting of course and this is where this is brilliant because the children want to win and that means counting. The game itself is or has been around in various guises since pussy meant a cat and the simple way the game is played has ensured it's longevity. For small children this simplicity means that they can compete with adults - if you can call me one being a rather immature grandfather - on a level playing field. When they win against me and my wife it's a joy. Because the dice is captive it saves the tragedy of losing it or the inevitable cheating that will go on when twin boy and girl compete. Well enough made for the money but I'm sure with a bit of care it will last years. Overall, a great value game easily used by small children.

Great game and the appearance is colourful, the size is perfect but it not very stable, great fun for the family. Easy to play and the pieces come in a bag so not easy to lose

Had an original version of this game and much more robust. That said, this version is well priced and everything works. The counters fit the slots and the dice, which is the centrepiece of the game, works well so all good there. Grand Children loved it and robust enough so it should last a while.

Perfect as described .delivered on time

The game itself is ok and will keep my grandchildren entertained. The actual product is so cheap looking. I was very surprised when I got it out the box. I doubt it will last very long as the board is so rubbish. I definitely don’t think the game is worth £9.25 even with the cost of delivery added to it.

Bought this for my 6 year old Grandson he loves playing the game at church at our games club so thought he’d like his own. We love playing it and play most weekends

I was expecting this to be really flimsy for the price, but was pleasantly surprised. It's a great alternative to Frustration, which is more than twice the price in any place you can find it.

This is probably the worse toy I have bought. The base is made of thin card. The pieces don't properly fit the holes. I would not recommend buying this.
