Lovely smooth writers but not as messy as normal fountain pens. I am a pen and handwriting obsessive. I use V Pens all the time and have all the colours. The nibs never scratch, the ink flow is smooth and continuous and there is no mess. The colours are deep and rich. They last for ages and never dry up, unlike cartridge pens. I can't recommend them highly enough. Great value for money.

These pens are very good value for the price. The pen has a nib just like much more expensive fountain pens. It is easy to grip the pen and write. There is an indicator on the side to show the volume of ink remaining.

I love these pens. You know when you pick up a pen, write a couple of words and then you look at the form of your lettering and it looks flowing and your sense is that there was no effort at all - it felt good. This is one of those pens. I picked one up my original one, as an emergency pen at Kingscross Station a few years ago. My husband and I had a silent battle - stealthy stealing it from each other, until I discovered this 3 pack in Amazon - problem solved! It is a fountain pen nib, nice feel to the grip, and very smooth writer. Great product.

Nice to write with.

I have found this extremely useful to write with. It might not have the nice look and feel of a normal fountain pen, and indeed, in the long run, it is cheaper to use a refillable fountain pen than to use these. However, these disposable pens write extremely well; I dare say better than a fair number of established fountain pen brands out there. The ink is also good and does not run. The light weight of these pens also make them ideal for writing quickly. I therefore use them for my written examinations.
