A nice weighty hammer (4lb) with a strong fibreglass handle that reduces the level of finger numbing vibrations you can get when working with concrete or Yorkshire stone. The handle itself is thick enough to be able to get a safe but comfortable grip of. This is my favourite hammer for getting rid of a bit of steam with, a job it performs well.

Its a hammer short and good and heavy
Good for that extra force when working close to the object needing the hammering.People buy a 4lb hammer then complain it's heavy! Or the handle is too short. Buy a lighter one or a long version, simples.And why give the product one star because the box was empty, or no receipt, thats the seller that's the problem not the product!

Recommend for jobs requiring more power, just watch your hands.
What a lump, a great asset when wood splitting, giving lots of power with it's weight. I suffer with arthritis in my thumbs and wrists, but paired with a high quality chisel, it made light work of the mega sized logs. I did start to get a blister on the side of my thumb, so you may want to wear gloves.
