Great Product, But Watch Out For Price Gouging On Replacement Filters
This is a very nice and well-made product. It beats the heck out of having to juggle oxygen tanks. It's small and light enough to travel with and it's easy to operate. No complaints there. I just, however, ordered 4 replacement filters, each slightly larger than a pencil eraser and weighing about a 1/2 ounce total. They were shipped from California in a small box, took two weeks to arrive, and had a shipping charge of $30. Furthermore, the four filters (on sale to boot) with shipping cost me $90. I think that was outrageous. If the product lasts four years, I will have spent more for filters than I did to buy the device. I suggest that Amazon jump in and start stocking these instead of forcing us to go to the manufacturer.

WHERE IS THE AIR FILTER FOR THIS UNIT?
THIS UNIT IS A DE-1A/DE-1B/DE-1LW/DE-1BW WHICH I BOUGHT YESTERDAY JUNE 9, 2023 approx $450. Setting it up is a do it yourself thing. It appears to me that whoever wrote the manual which is only a few pages - did try his best. But so much is missing. For instance, on any expensive and medical piece of equipment there MUST be a parts list listing each item and then function and then part number and where the items can be ordered.2nd. On page 9 you discuss the "air filter" and also on page 08. The drawing on page 8 states, 'inlet cover/air filter (internal). On the unit I bought you must carefully remove the cyclender plug. Then you designate the 'filter' as being (internal). The unit I bought does NOT have an internal filter. In all the packaging I have not been able to find any sort of filter. Is the cotton filter internal to the machine? I doubt you would configure the system in that way. You state that the unit must NOT be operated without the filter. On page 16 you continue providing information on the filter under the 'Maintenance' section. Why do you disconnect important subject matter in this way. It is on page 16 that I learn that the filter is "cotton" which makes sense. Where is it? On the nipple going into the unit at the filter inlet there was a plug cover the inlet. I have not found that discussed. It this the air filter? Does it use 'nano holes' to allow the air to enter? On the very last page you do provide a "Free service hotline: 400-830-21119 That is wonderful. But is it free because is doesn't do anything? Here in the "exceptional nation" most powerful and muscle bound nation in the world - hotlines are usually 800- or 888- Using the 400 pre-number or 888 or 800 does nothing. It turns out that this phone number is collect and cost is approx. 50 cents per minute. This item I bought is MEDICAL EQUIPMENT. It has not been used as I can't even get past the fiber filter. I have no other option but to return it and ask the doctor to fill out the paper work and obtain an American unit via Medicare.

Works fine for short trips but not as good as larger Oxygen concentrators
We switched from a large oxygen concentrator (not portable) to this size for a trip we went on. It works good enough for a weekend. My wife uses a concentrator to supplement her CPAP. After we returned home, we started using it instead of the larger unit. After a few weeks, my wife's Apple watch, which has a built in oximeter warned us that her oxygen concentration had fallen Below 90% at night. We immediately switched back to the larger unit. The portable unit is ok for short periods but not for long duration.

Repair/refurbish info
Should have information as to where it can be repaired. This is my second one but need to refurbish first one I bought and can find no info on it.I would still buy again. It is much quieter than large machine. Also would lie to know if OK to run without water. Can anyone help?

very little oxygen
seems to produce about 1 liter per minute of oxygen, turning the volume up just adds more air
