Sevenhills Organic Raw Cacao Nibs 1kg, from Peru, High in Copper

These Sevenhills Wholefoods organic cacao nibs are a great addition to smoothie bowls, adding a satisfying crunch and rich cocoa flavour. They taste very natural and not overly bitter, which makes them easy to use in a range of recipes. The nibs feel fresh and high quality, and a small amount goes a long way as a topping. They come across as a more premium option compared to some alternatives, but the quality reflects that. Overall, a versatile and enjoyable product for everyday use.

Top quality product, raw, organic and delicious. If you're trying this for the first time its taste can take a little adjusting to, especially if (like me) you are coming from only experiencing processed organic dark chocolate, however, once you adjust you'll find it is far better. Like all raw, minimally processed food items it can be extra work to incorporate in your diet, e.g. having to grind up for some uses, however, its worth the effort. I normally enjoy this product fresh out of the bag as is, or add a tablespoon to home made trail mix. I bought this product to incorporate more raw food in my diet and to gain the nutritional benefits of organic, raw cocoa and although I have only been using it a few weeks I genuinely feel an overall improvement to my well being. My energy levels ( which there was no problem with anyway) have improved and I find myself more and more realising just how good I'm feeling - a heaped tablespoon daily of this product has been the only dietary change during this period, so I'm convinced the raw cocoa is responsible for the improvements.

Reading through some of the other reviews, I have to wonder what some people assumed they were ordering when they bought raw cacao nibs! Folks, these are 100% pure cacao beans, dried and crushed into minute pieces. It's like snacking directly on the chocolate equivalent of coffee beans. If you're expecting smooth milk chocolate, you're several stages of processing (and a bunch more ingredients!) away from what you're imagining. Onto the nibs themselves: They're really good. Raw, organic, crushed small enough to be useful. They're also surprisingly 'sweet' (I say that in quotes; of course, there's no sugar, so this is sweet in the same way that wine can be 'smoky with hints of fruit!'.) They're also an excellent price and available in a range of quantities. These are perfect for keto recipes. Net carbs are less than 5% of weight. I sprinkle these on clotted cream and indulge several times a week (day?). Mmmm! Delicious!

This is the first time I have bought raw cacao. Its been on my wishlist for ages, but they are quite expensive, but finally took the plunge. To be honest I wasnt sure what to expect. This is a good bag full. The nibs look a little like chocolate curls. BUT be warned they taste nothing like chocolate if you eat them straight out of the bag, much to my daughters shock and disappointment! They are a strong almost raw coffee bean taste! So initally I was a little disappointed, and wasnt sure what to do next.... I have, however, turned my opinion around. I have been adding them to homemade protein balls, for me and the kids. And they are very nice. There are loads of reported benefits, including high antioxidants, high magnesium, so I am keen to keep using. I will be adding them to puddings and smoothies, but the protein balls are a real hit. If you found this helpful, please click yes.

Great taste

On there own the taste isn’t great Personally I mix with seeds, nuts and berries then cover in kefir and yoghurt and I’ve got porridge on steroids

Delicious and great value.

I bought these for the benefits of the cacao bean and was really unsure what to expect! They are Vegan approved so I'm a fan, if you looking for nibs that taste like milk chocolate, then these are not for you! However, they are very moreish, hard and bitter. I put mine in a Mason Jar and just help myself throughout the day, in small quantities, if you eat too much at once you get the hit of the bitterness, which is slightly unpleasant. You can add them to almost anything you want, this is what i would highly recommend because i have a thing for peanut butter obviously vegan, these together are delicious, really delicious.. mix and match just see what works for you :)

Produit conforme à la description.

Very fresh! Smells great when you open it.

Sabor delicioso y buena relación calidad precio. Lo utilizo para la dieta Keto añadiéndolas al yogur y me encantan

This does not melt when heated with milk/water. I bought a grinder hoping that would help but when ground it still doesn’t blend with the liquid. Unusable!

Ravie d’avoir découvert ce produit. J’en grignote une pincée de temps en temps 😘 Pas trop amer pour moi
