Lilly Lube Premium Chain Lube 4.23oz

Seriously it takes a minute or two tops and my chains last a long time and it is good in wet or dry conditions.Works great!

I was using Boeshield T-9 Lubricant, which is also very good and cleans while lubricating. I was looking for something in winter that would keep my chain from slowing down in the cold temps. This was reviewed as a top choice in a cycling magazine so I thought I would try it. It makes your bike go faster. I was shocked. I usually clean my chain between rides, depending on the distance. If the ride is over 30 miles I will clean the chain for the next ride to get all the grit out. I have more than 1 bike, so I cleaned the chain on a bike that I ended up not using for about a month and when I took it out the next time, expecting to have to re-lube the chain after sitting for a month, I was astounded to find that the chain was still perfect. With my other lubes, if I left a bike sitting around for more than a week, the chain would feel very dry. I have never seen this before with any lube. So, the fact that it also makes your bike go faster than with any other lube and that it seems magical ;-) I'm sold. This is certainly the best one.

I exclusively ride a road bike but I haven't be able to know good this lube is. I've been out on two very wet rides and after an hour or so the lube is completely gone. I've applied this lube as instructed, on the night before and wipe until clean. So far it's been hours of a very noisy drive train after a few kilometers of light rain and wet roads. I'll give this lube another go before I give up on this a go back to hot wax dipping.

I have used many different bicycle chain lubes, and this is the best for cleaning, durability and keeping your chain quiet. I use it on road bikes. I have not tried it on trail bikes were the environment is very dusty.

Works as advertised

This is the only oil I ever used that doesn't leave a sticky residue. The other oils had the problem that they attracted dust and made the chair dirty on the very next ride, leading to more wear over time. This one not! It is runny enough to lubricate only the joints and can be swiped off the outside, leaving the chain nice and clean for a long time.

I am a very experienced bike rider and mechanic and engineer who rides 10,000 + miles per year. I have over time tried every major chain lube on the market, and this is by far the best chain lube. 1) independently tested as the lowest friction non wax lube made, effectiffically equal to any wax lube, and 1-2 watts better than all non wax lubes. 2) This lube is also the best chain cleaner, and keeps your chain clean 3) This lube will double the life of your chain and drive train components (@ 10,000 + miles a year I know a lot about component life) 4) the packaging- which is not shown in these pictures, makes it super easy to apply, and releases a very specific amount, so you get only what you need, no waste, no mess.

Well, I’m sure the Lilly Lube will work great, but 5 stars for Cycle Quests creative packaging. I mean who sends a bicycle cartoon and a bicycle word search along with the product.
