Polygard 12200A Brake and Clutch Cleaner, 5L Volume

Good stuff. Brake cleaner. Cheap but effective. Used with a 1lt pump bottle instead of buying aerosol cans. Happy days.

Cheap and cheerful, works well in spray bottle

Great stuff in a 5lt tub. Better value than the pressurised cans you buy from a car shop. Delivery from this supplier was quick (non Prime), well packages against rupture and leaks and as promised. its brake cleaner, all the brands are the same, it is only the quantity in Ltrs that differs. Dispense this to either a chemical hand sprayer of pressurised vessels. I use it to degrease/clean roller bearings before regreasing. Sounds stupid.....If you are working in very close proximity to it i would advise using some lip protection (Vaseline maybe) as it does dry them out. As always with all brake cleaners, keep this away from car paintwork

I decided to purchase this product instead of the aerosol brake cleaner that I always bought, as I seemed to be going through a lot lately. I find it easier to put this brake cleaner into a spray bottle to apply, and then agitate with a brush. It's not as quick to clean some parts as an aerosol, especially if they are awkward to reach, as obviously you aren't utilising the propellent to help, but I'm certainly not going through as much brake cleaner now in day to day use. I think an ideal combination would be to use this for heavy work and perhaps an aerosol for tricky to reach areas. I can't fault the product and it does exactly what it should. It's a good cleaner and degreaser and I have no complaints.
