Taylor and Colledge Vanilla Bean Paste 65 g (Pack of 2)

I am a Muslim. I love the flavour of Vanilla but it has been very difficult to find a vanilla product which had no addition of alcohol in it. After finding this product, it did the job - gave a natural vanilla flavour with no artificial whatever; less it definitely more with this product because it has such an intense flavour! All in all, I would definitely recommend this product as it does the job better than the extract; if you are worried about alcholic additions to vanilla, take my word this has none whatsoever!Thank you Taylor and Colledge!

Used to make home made vanilla Ice Creme. Simple and effect way of adding intense vanilla flavour to the recipe. Good quality product. Jars are not very big and it is definitely not the most cost effective way of adding vanilla but flavor consistency, ease of use and speed make it a valuable part of my icecreme making toolkit.

I note a lot of people complaining of the flavour diminishing over time with this product, all I can note that is after trying it from being bought in a supermarket, myself and wife found it to be very flavourful and a great substitute for fresh vanilla, at this price for two I would definetly buy again

This product is okay... It does produce a vanilla taste but you do have to use a fair amount which can result in using to much there is a fine line between using the right amount and to much! It's also not as thick as I was expecting. That being said it's not like using a real vanilla bean! When I first opened it I was optimistic as it smelt artificial but seen as its only 47% vanilla I can't say I'm surprised! It is a good product but you could get a higher quality paste for a little more. Since I brought it the price has gone down buy £2 a bit annoying. Fast delivery.

Bought this based on the no-nonsense product name 'Vanilla Bean Paste', and description: "As the name implies, canilla (sic) bean paste is basically vanilla beans in a jar." (seeing as how e.g. juices, must be labelled as things like 'juice drink', not 'juice', if it's juice + sugar + flavourings/additives)Turns out not at all. In fact there's more filler in this, mainly sugar(!), than there is vanilla paste (only 47%).- Weak taste: used a teaspoon of it in about half a cup of final product, couldn't taste the vanilla.- No nutritional info on the label: so you don't know what the sugar content even is, and can't accurately control your total sugar content.- Whatever the fillers are, they don't blend with cocoa butter: even after using an electric stick blender it separates back out into droplets very quickly.Should've looked closer at reviews and description (where indeed lower down it does mention the sugar). Boo. More accurate labelling please, I'm sure this is all fine for some folks, but I specifically wanted pure, or at least sugar free, paste in this case.

I was really disappointed the moment I opened the jar.It smelt really fake with that hint of plastic. It's also really gelatinous which I find off putting.

This product is excellent, much better than vanilla liquid extract it is wonderful added to greek yoghurt for a lighter cream sauce. Because it is sold in a pack of two smaller jars means less likelyhood of spoilage once opened. The delivery was really swift and arrived well packaged. As this is so difficult to buy in shops it couldn,t be easier to order through amazon. Highly recommended if you want a good value quality product.

This paste is a blessing to have as a welcome alternative to the bottled variety.It has a nice vanilla taste, a creamy consistency with visible tiny seeds and not artificial or too pungeant. Well worth the purchase price and something I will continue to buy.
