Useful and well priced unit. Works very well.
Have it monitoring my greenhouse, easy to use, connects well to WiFi even in my garden, app is clear and easy to use. If you are looking for an easy solution to temperature and humidity monitoring then I recommend this unit. It also monitors dew point and static air pressure. Useful and well priced unit.

Waste of time and money
You might be able to do the setup for the 1st time. But if you need to change the network and tey to do the setup another tome, though luck, you will not succeed even if it is the same wifi network with another name. Bad prouct

I recently purchased the Inkbird WiFi Temperature and Humidity Sensor, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. This device has truly been a game-changer when it comes to monitoring the environmental conditions in my home or office. Setting up the Inkbird WiFi sensor was a breeze. The instructions provided were clear and concise, and the device seamlessly connected to my WiFi network. It also integrated effortlessly with the Inkbird app on my smartphone, allowing me to monitor the sensor. The readings are consistent and reliable, providing me with real-time data on the conditions in my space. This has been invaluable for maintaining optimal conditions for my plants, and other sensitive items. One of the standout features of the Inkbird sensor is its reliable connectivity. I have experienced no dropouts or interruptions in data transmission, ensuring that I'm always connected. This has given me peace of mind, knowing that I can rely on the sensor to provide continuous and uninterrupted monitoring. In conclusion, the Inkbird WiFi Temperature and Humidity Sensor is an outstanding device that offers exceptional performance, accuracy, and ease of use, this sensor delivers on all fronts. With its reliable connectivity, versatile functionality, it's truly a must-have for anyone who values accurate environmental monitoring. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

Purchased three of these and they are working well. One of them had a trouble with temperature detection, raised a support request via mail. They verified the purchase and sent me a replacement the same day and received a working sensor. The sensors itself are of excellent quality and accurate readings

I had high hopes for the INKBIRD WiFi Thermometer Hygrometer (IBS-TH3) when I first bought them. The setup was simple, and it worked well for the first few months. But after about a year, all 4 that I purchased completely stopped working without any clear reason. No amount of resetting or troubleshooting could bring it back to life. Even before it gave out, the battery life was terrible. I constantly had to replace batteries way more often than advertised, even with minimal usage and in stable indoor conditions. For a device that's supposed to be "smart," it feels like a total letdown. Save your money and invest in something more reliable. This one doesn’t stand the test of time.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was how well the product was packaged. The packing foam was tight, yet cushioning, so the box would have to undergo a lot more than the usual shaking during shipping to sustain any damage to the device (i.e. the box would need to be crushed, or exposed to water or extreme heat). The packaging may seem like a small factor, but it is the first step to ensuring the device is working properly when you get it. The next thing I noticed was the devices compact size. Just looking at it, I’d put the dimensions at around 3x3x.5 inches, which is the perfect size for general purposes. Some more specialized applications may not be able to use this size, but for most purposes it’s great. After I took the device out of the packaging and read the manual (which, by the way, is very easy to read and is very clear on what you need to do to connect the device to your phone), I started the connection process. In the user's manual, there is a QR code to download the INKBIRD app. Simply scan the code, and download the app. As far as the app itself, I noticed how easy it is to navigate and use. It is very simple, not to the point of being almost pointless, but just to the point where anyone would be able to easily navigate it. The first device I tried was an iPhone 7, which was running iOS 15.7.1. I was unable to connect the devices, which I assume was because I had not updated the iPhone since it was purchased. The second device I tried was an iPhone 13, which was running iOS 18.6.1. I was able to connect that one with very little difficulty. After that, it was very simple to review the temperature that the device was reading. From what I could tell, the device was very accurate, and at the very least it was no less accurate than the user's manual stated it would be. As far as the usefulness of this device, it’s not specialized for reptiles (my hobby) so outside of that I would have no idea of the uses. For reptiles, this device is great for most sorts of ambient temperature reading as well as relative humidity reading, humidity being more important for reptile enclosures since you want to measure the surface temperature and this device only measures ambient. It is great for keeping tabs on the ambient temperature and humidity levels in enclosed spaces, like refrigerators (for mealworm keeping) and incubators (for breeding). There is a bit of advice you are going to want to follow if you are using this device for a reptile or invertebrate egg incubator. In most of these animals, when you incubate them the eggs are in moist medium inside a Tupperware-type container and are placed inside an incubator, a device designed to keep the temperatures of the eggs at the optimum levels. As an example I will use leopard gecko eggs, since those are what I have bred, but this will apply to pretty much everything. These eggs need to be kept moist, but not wet, inside their egg boxes. Some people recommend a certain level of humidity inside the egg boxes, but this can be very misleading. As long as you have the water levels correct, and the ventilation levels correct (for leopard geckos, either none at all and opening the container once a week, or one-two pinholes), and the heat at the right levels, the humidity levels will be correct. BUT, if you use a hygrometer to measure the levels, it is very likely that the hygrometer will malfunction before long due to the high humidity levels necessary. So for reptile breeding, use a waterproof probe for the inside of the egg boxes, and don’t bother with a hygrometer. Just be very diligent to ensure that the three conditions mentioned above are met. This device IS great, however, for the ambient temperature and humidity inside the incubator itself. This is less useful for reptile and invertebrate eggs, but for bird eggs this is absolutely essential. So, overall, I'm rating this device 5/5 stars. Good job, INKBIRD, on a great product at a great price.
