well packaged and a good addition get when you have the brother scan n cut. I have only used this blade a few times. It worked well but did scratch my mat. This may have been my own fault for not setting the pressure right. I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. I would definitely recommend this product if you plan to cut thicker materials such as foam or felt etc.

Newbie mistake
New to scan and cut. I ordered this after watching a video for cutting felt. Came back from holiday to try out and spend an hour trouble shooting why it wasnโt cutting before realising โ a deep cut holderโ is exactly that-a holder. No idea you bought the blade separately! (Now on order. So the item I bought, a blade holder, is exactly what I ordered. It arrived promptly, minimal safe packaging and fits my machine perfectly. Any more I will find out when the blade arrives. It pays to read the information carefully and do your homework!! Doh

Brother CAHLF1 Deep Cut Blade holder works fine with the Brother ScanNCut 2
There seemed to be a question if this would be a correct holder as was a different number. Since the right nunber one was not available right away, I took a chance on this one. It was a little more cost but thankful it works fine.
