A quality shampoo. Conditions and gives noticeable volume to my hair. One of the best on the market.

My husband has been using this product for 4 months now after noticing he was thinning slightly on his crown. The difference this product has made is unbelievable, his hair is so much thicker all over, there is no longer a thinner patch at all, and must surprisingly the over all condition of his hair has improved greatly. His hair is now thicker, less frizzy and more shiny. He’s over the moon!

This shampoo has a great smell. It makes my hair look amazing and clean. Not sure if the caffeine is helping my hair grow but it does seem to grow quicker. No new hair though where it was missing but I'll stick with this product as it is great at cleaning hair and makes it feel in good health.

Decent enough, just expensive compared to other shampoos than do a similar job.

Better than the original, which smells very odd this one smell lovely citrus mixed with a sweet smell, It’s alway orange in colour.

Hi, the requirement from the company Dr Wolff (based in Germany) is that after massaging the shampoo lather into your scalp for 3 minutes before waiting 2 mins as it seeps into the scalp, before washing off the foam with hot water leads to your scalp being sensitized. With the caffeine ingredient helping to regenerate your scalp in terms of greater follicle re-growth. This is demonstrated to the user that it is working if, when you proceed to wash off the foam, that you experience a slight tingling sensation! Whether this works or not remains to be seen, but part of the appeal is of the sense of well-being that you may feel if using this product as it can improve your confidence (if you're shy and upset about your hair-loss) giving you the sense that you are being pro-active in attempting to solve a problem you may be feeling insecure about. Or maybe it subconsciously helps you come to terms with a phenomena that affects a large percentage of men as they get older! Using this product, as well as the other types of Alpecin on the shelves, can contribute to a sense of one's own identity. As if you are part of an exclusive club that the mainstream are unaware of. Or maybe it's just the shiny stylish bottle and the tingling sensation when you finish your shower!? You be the judge!
