I ordered this as I needed a lightweight dressing gown for summer. I ordered the green bird option and it is very pretty.Unfortunately I find a couple of things annoying; the sleeves are so wide they often drag across worktops (when in the kitchen!) and iv'e dragged a cup of tea by catching the sleeve on the cup. The sleeves frequently get caught on door handles too, it's not like I couldn't see the pretty wide sleeves, but I didn't expect them to be an issue! The material is not actually silk/satin and I also knew that, but the material is a reasonable faux silk look albeit duller and a tad synthetic feeling, but the issue is it is not very breathable, so my purpose to have a lightweight summer option is actually quite hot and sweaty! The belt is quite short and has a tendency to slip and slide undone due to the slippery nature of the material. I didn't actually expect to write so many negatives, it's a shame as it is cheap and pretty! I recommend this, but only if you are wearing it briefly before bed or after bathing, for wearing for long lengths of time throughout day/evenings it will probably result in the issues iv'e mentioned happening. The length is just below the knee and the sleeves are 3/4 length and wide.

I have a few colours and have gifted to friends too. I've had mine for a few years now. Apart from looking fantastic, beautiful colours, fit and style, they wash well, tumble dry ok, really light and perfect for travelling, comfortable. I'd definately buy again or more :))

First of all. Your question ‘what did you use this product for?’ Is a little strange...I didn’t order it to wipe the dishes or wash the floor!! I was pleased with the colour and feel of the fabric , it was well made and good value for the price. BUT, I am 5 feet 6 inches tall and size 16/18. It does fit ...just about but it is too small really, a kimono needs to wrap around the body and feel comfortable. This doesn’t. However, I shall happily give it as a present to a smaller friend. So, the only thing wrong is the size description.

My lady loved it as a gift
