Does this flute have a split E?

Yes. You can check the specifications of the Y311 on any good web shop that sells them. Its a good sturdy flute. Tone is good. I had a Pearl previously - slightly better tone in my opinion but more expensive for similar quality. Also, the mechanism is better made and you can get spares if any part should break - this was not true for the pearl - where the E mechanism broke!!

Is there a return option for this flute if it is unsuitable?

I haven't bought this Item. So no Purchase of this in my name has gone through, & should automatically be stopped.

Is this a beginner flute? i can’t find any decent flutesi have my grade 6 flute (london board) and want to start where i left off.

This would be for a beginner. I bought one as a replacement while I got my main flute fixed and it lasted about 3 months. I’ve had students use them and some lasted a year, some lasted a month and the keys fell off. Suitable for grades 1-3, definitely will be difficult to play at grade 6 and sound awful, which you can get marked down for :-) perhaps try Trevor James for a good cheaper reputable UK brand or try a flute on finance/2nd hand rather than look for a cheapie :-) xx
